Did not work for our dog.
EDIT- customer service from this company was great!. Although the product did not work for my dog, they contacted me right away and we worked on a resolution. This product did not stop my dog from eating the poo. I went through 2 packages (jars) and followed the instructions as described. It may work for some, but did nothing to deter my dog. Still searching for something that will work for us.

Hard chews, not "soft"
Chews are described as "soft chews" but are very hard. I have to crumble it up because my puppy can't chew it. I would not have purchased this if I knew they weren't soft.

I'd Recommend
I have a 6yr old pug, and this has worked for us since i started giving them to her around 2020. My dog doesnt eat poo anymore, plus she loves these. She gets one with dinner and saves the treat until after she eats, I think is kinda funny.

These did not work for our dog
These did not work at all for our dog. We have a 6 month old puppy that enjoys eating his own poop. We tried a different brand and that didn't work so thought maybe a change in brands might make a difference. To start, these chews, although marked as "soft chews" were not very soft. I'm not sure if the batch we got was just stale, but they were a little hard for my puppy to eat. I ended up breaking them in half to help. The one positive thing is that my puppy enjoyed eating them and basically considered them like treats (got excited to eat them). As far as being effective in deterring my puppy from eating poop, these completely failed. I do not see any difference in his habits. Another negative is I believe these cause his gas to be VERY stinky. Overall, I would not recommend these. I'm sure results may vary for each dog, but unfortunately they didn't do any good for ours. Review update 4/7/25 I still give the product itself 1 star due to it being ineffective, however the company stands behind its satisfaction guarantee and was able to work with me to resolve the issues so I'm increasing the review by two stars (5 stars overall for customer service). It's good to have companies out there that still stand behind their products!

Works but can get pricy with multiple dogs
I noticed a difference while we used them. They are easy to use since our dogs love them and view them as treats. One of our dogs is a pica dog. She's like a garbage disposal eating anything she comes across including any poop in the yard. she stopped eating her own poo and I had to give all the dogs this treat to deter her from eating their poo as well. In the end, we have four large dogs and to keep using this was a little out of our budget.

Works for us, but important things to know!
So the bison fl or ended up working for us, for some reason, better than the chicken… who knows why. It’s not 100% effective all the time, but it’s important to figure out the reason why the dog is eating the poo! I can’t stress that enough. We have 4 little dogs that are all rescues. One of them eats the poo because of “housekeeping” which is a nice way to say she doesn’t want stinky stuff around so she eats it. She came from a hoarding house where it was always dirty so she learned this behavior. One other started to learn this behavior, but luckily they both stop with this treat because it makes it really undesirable tasting. They would rather deal with the smell until we get there to help instead of the taste. We have another that eats poo, but she also has some gastro issues as well. We give her additional pro and prebiotics, nutrient dense foods, and everything we can to help. But dogs will eat poo, especially their own, as a way of getting more of the nutrition if they aren’t getting it from their diets. I know she is getting it, but because of the issues she might not always be absorbing it. Her supplements are supposed to be helping this. These no poo chews will help deter this, but for this type of behavior they may not stop it because it is more of a survival instinct instead of cleaning or some learned behavior. This chew, as with most other supplements to deal with poo eating, may or may not work. I’ve tried others that somewhat work and we’ve had to find the one that works for them, but it was also important to find out why they’re doing it in the first place. If your dog is doing it for hunger or nutrition, this type of thing might not work for you. Always talk to your vet if deterrents don’t work to find out why they are eating the poo because this will best let you know how to help them. Also know that the supplements won’t be the only fix. Making changes to your routine and behaviors as well will be needed, many dogs who eat to clean it need a long pattern of your immediate cleaning before they begin to trust you’re going to clean it for them. But never yell or scold for this behavior because there is some underlying reason.

Do not deter my dog from eating his poo.
Unfortunately, these don’t work for my dog. I have used another brand that works after only two days, but these are not working after two weeks. They do like the taste of the chews. The value is good, especially with small dogs because they are heart shaped and easily cut in half.

Habit=broken
My dog has completely broken his habit of eating his own poo or other dogs poo! This was a life saver.
