Great shoes! Very happy!
I was sooo happy to find how comfortable these are! No break-in period needed whatsoever. I have a very active/physical job and I didn’t wear them the first day so I could try them out in a smaller time span. They felt great walking around the house but it’s still hard to tell. My feet were killing me when I got home from work but I had to walk the dogs. I decided to try these ones and wow!!! My feet actually started to hurt less even tho I was still on them and had been working all day! That sold me on these right away and I’ve been wearing them to work every day now. No blisters or rub burns and my feet really aren’t aching at the end of the day! That blows my mind!! They look great, have awesome support, sturdy, very well made and solid. Firm toe box versus the typical soft mesh and fit the form of my feet beautifully. I’m pretty sure these will hold up well and last a good while too. Not real cheap but I’d pay even more for these! It can be so difficult to find a good pair of shoes no matter what price you pay. Thank you!!

Best running shoe for me
ASIC GT-2000s have always been my favorite running shoe. They support my feet and fit my pronation.

Comfortable, great heel support, but hurt front of feet
I bought for my daughter for a weightlifting competition. She said they are super comfortable and were great. I also bought a pair. They don’t slip on heel, have great heel support, and are lightweight. However for me not enough support in front area of foot it hurt while walking on treadmill. I have high arches and feel there’s not enough support. I use inserts to help with that. I always go up 1/2 size with running shoes and these are true to size.

Comfort and support….especially in the arch
I’ve been wearing this brand/style for three years now. I am a heavy person, 78 yrs old and bike five miles daily. I wear them all day and even at the end of the day my feet are happy. They may be a little stiff at first so I adjust the laces looser to give my feet more room. Within a day or two they are perfect….however they are NEVER uncomfortable; just more comfortable looser those first days. I like that as time goes by I can readjust the lacing to give more support etc. ; sometimes I skip some holes. I alternate pairs to let each pair rest between wearing. That arch support lasts a long time. The old ones I use for gardening. I go through about 2 to 3 pairs a year, not bad when you think I wear them everyday. I hope ASICS keeps making them.

Asics are still good
I have been wearing this brand for over 20 years and a lot has happened in the industry with materials and colors and so on. These new ones are used to walk on a track with orthotic inserts in them and they were comfortable since the first wearing and two months later I am still pleased. They are holding up fine.Maybe next time iIcould go up to a 7.5 because these are snug with inserts under the liner, but either way I am happy. Thin socks are easy to find.

Great Trail Shoes-Recommend
At First Needed to Relace entire shoe to fit my foot in. Was skeptical. Long time Asics buyer & hadn't encountered this. This is a new trail shoe for me. Love these. I'm on my feet all day and I'm also active. Runner! I love to trail run, but more often on pavement. I Always buy trail running shoes. Love the traction. Even on paved trails/sidewalks encounter: leaves, slick spots, ice, debris-- better traction. I've purchased some twice the price that I did not like as much. It is hard to really test a shoe unless you have worn it vs trying it on. Trying it on only goes so far. Great value

Very cheaply made
I had a nice pair of black asics years ago that were very well made, fit very well, but I sliced off the lugs climbing rocky hiking paths and occasional rocks..Noted in the photos is a psychedelic pair of asics that I bought a few years ago to replace the black ones. I rarely wear these. I used a permanent marker to cover most of the bright yellow, but since the soles are turquoise, I can't mark up the whole shoe. Black wasn't available anywhere and I rarely wear them due to embarrassment about the colors. Finally I found a pair of black asics. Note they are shorter in height than the older ones. I have a high instep and people have complained they rub on the instep. I resolved this issue by loosening the laces.Note there is less room in the toe box. It's shorter top to bottom. I keep my nails trimmed, but others have noted that in three months this cheap material will have a hole where the big toes are. The material is very thin and cheap. I believe this will be the case.Note the older shoes have a (phony) suede strip protecting the toe box area and has very thick material over the toes. These will be used for travel only. If I need a serious sneaker, I'll wear the older ones. I hope these last one trip.Asics, what are you doing? Your prices are going up while the quality is going down. And please sell all black shoes for women. I don't want a sneaker with a white or turquoise sole, either.Who designs these? The only consolation is the gel sole and the fit.
