The product arrived on time and in great condition. It worked great, but I had ordered it because I thought our original supply had finally burned out. It turns out that one of our console’s USB ports was broken, and one of the USB’s contacts was touching the chassis of the console, grounding what was either a power or data line (resulting in a red light on the power supply). I straightened those contacts so they wouldn’t touch each other, let alone the chassis, and 1) the power supply stopped displaying a red light and 2) the console started up just fine again. (TLDR; check your console’s USB ports, straightening and separating any broken/bent contacts.)

The noise level is quite high, and I'm uncertain if this is normal or if the product is defective. Had I known about this beforehand, I wouldn't have made the purchase.
