Great product, Great Support
Its been several years now on this unit being in my crawl space. It has run quite well with no issues at all. The most important thing on this device is that it really keep the humidity level within range and works well with its app on my phone to control it when its needed. I would highlty recommend this dehumidifer along with great customer service and support.

Wifi would not work at all no matter which phone or app we tried.
Well the wifi on this has 2 different apps depending on the build date code on the tag on the machine. Alorair R. app. OR. Aloriar R Lite app. Neither one worked.Sent back and I will review the second one.Looks decently built.Pump works. It is just the most important part the wifi would not work.Look for my review on the replacement one.Ok the second one came in.The wifi hooked up easily and I was happy untill the wifi stopped after a half day.Ereased the entire app and started from scratch. It said successfully attached to my account but would not relay any info to my phone.Called Alorair and was told to fill out the troubleshooting form.Got a reply from Alorair for me to submitt the order # form from amazon so I did. There representative replied back and said because I bought it on Amazon it was not covered under there warranty at all.Such freeking bullshit. They should be ashamed of themselves using Amazon as a scape goat to get out of thier warranty obligations. This will be going back to amazon.Buyer beware. They do not stand behind thier products you buy when you buy them on amazon even before I purchased this thier customer service representatives 2 of them said they. were covered. So off to purchase another brand but I have to make sure it is not a sister brand of Alorair.I cpme from an era where A Great buy is good customer service period and I sent them a clear message of what I thought of thier reply which I will not state entirely here. What a shame a decent product with no back up by the company. This was not a cheap machine..Buyer Beware.

User-Friendly Dehumidifier - Industrial Strength
Our furnished-basement suffers from humidity levels in the mid-80%. Mightily impressed with the robust strength and reassurance from a quality industrial product. If you need the job done, ALORAIR Storm LGR Extreme is as tough and reliable as they come. I like knowing that a commercial unit has the capacity to run for several days after flooding, which turned out to be what we endured from a failed sump pump. Invest a little more and get the pro-grade equipment. Summary of what to expect: Built to withstand stacking, easy-to-read display for all the major functions and readouts from the menu. Easy to install and be up and running in minutes should you have an emergency situation. Reliable to be left unattended, rest assured, it will be running for weeks/months in a basement as has the sensors for maintaining a target humidity. It's wifi-enabled with its own app for monitoring.

Works great and compact
This Dehumidifier works great and removes many pints per day. I have had this running daily for over a year at still works great. iOS Connection app is trash and barely works half the time. Manually the product is great. Remotely almost impossible to control. Small buy as powerful as a commercial

Works great as a dehumidifier in the crawlspace and is quiet
I have an encapsulated crawlspace, but there are still plenty of places where humidity can get in. This unit has been working for two months now in spring and summer and is able to keep the humidity below 55% set point, even on days with 100% humidity outside. It could probably pull more moisture than that, but we haven't changed the setting to anything lower except when we tested it in a bathroom with the shower running to see if it could keep up. It did. The WiFi setup is a little tricky. We only ever use it in direct connect mode. To do so, we open the app on a phone with a different WiFi or data connection. Then we get to the screen on the app that prompts us to change WiFi networks. We switch networks to the private network that the machine hosts. Then the app finishes connecting and shows us all the settings and statistics on the machine. According to its own statistics, it's only been actively running about 1 hour every day to keep the humidity down. The spot in the crawlspace where I put it is right below where I sit on the main level. You can barely hear it when it runs. It's quieter than other dehumidifiers that I own and obviously much quieter than the main AC.

False promises
This product was purchased to install in a very tight crawlspace that is difficult to access, so I paid a lot of money for what I hoped was highest reliability so I wouldn't have to access it frequently. I bought it also for the fact that it had wi fi capability so I could control it without crawling under the house.. The first year was fine. In the second year the pump failed and though they sent a replacement part they wouldn't fix it. I had to fix it myself. Then this year, they changed the software completely and I found out that my machine was no longer WiFi capable:( Their customer support said they would give me a new machine but I had to ship mine back at my expense ($200) and I wouldn't get a new warranty. Based on my experience, I would caution people from buying this product unless they are close to LA and can access the company.

Impressive Performance and Excellent Support!
I purchased the ALORAIR Storm LGR Extreme Smart WiFi Commercial Dehumidifier with Pump to handle high humidity in my basement, and it exceeded my expectations. When I first set it up, humidity was around 80%. Within just 12 hours, it brought the level down to 55%, and it’s been maintaining it effortlessly since. The unit is highly efficient — it pumped out about 5 gallons of water in 24 hours during those initial humid conditions. Despite its strong performance, the noise level is surprisingly low, which makes it easy to run even when people are around. Another huge plus is the customer support. They’re very responsive, knowledgeable, and always follow up on questions to make sure everything’s working properly. It’s rare to see that level of service these days. Overall, this dehumidifier is worth every penny — powerful, quiet, and backed by a great support team. Highly recommend it!
