Easy installation
I have installed many ceiling lights. This one wins by miles for ease of installation. Because It fits tight to the ceiling reduces any accidents when moving items through hallways or into closets. It is also an alternative to recessed lights, depending on the look you are going for. i started with one and liked it so much I started to replace other ceiling fixtures with it. I am up to five, so far.

Good lights for low ceiling
I only have a 6-ft ceiling in my house so I bought two of these low-profile ceiling lights to replace the globe lights in my kitchen. I don't even notice them on the ceiling. The lights are bright but not overwhelming.
