This is the real deal in Toum. Many vendors attempt to make this sauce but many do not succeed. This sauce contains raw garlic emulsified with oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. The taste is wonderful and the consistency is thick and smooth. I love to grill a pizza and use Toum in place of the red sauce. This makes a great base for vegetables on a pizza. Try it.....you will be delighted.

This is the real deal gourmet Lebanese spread great for grilled chicken. The taste is perfect and gourmet Resturant quality. So glad that this stuff is available on Amazon !! So hard to find the real original Lebanese spread. This is made fresh when ordered, and be aware that because the spread is made fresh and has NO preservatives it will stay good for 30 days refrigerated. The shipping package has a label tag dated for when it is made fresh and is dated that it will stay fresh in the refrigerator for about 30 days from when you receive it. The product arrived packed inside a thermal packet with Ice packs. My unit was shipped out and arrived during a 98 degree summer heat wave from the west coast (Washington state) to me on the east coast (New York) in good condition and still chilled thanks to the ice packs inside the thermal package. Winter shipping may be preferred in the future , but even with a heat wave during shipping, the spread arrived in cool to touch condition.

Toum is delicious but this product is over the top! I practically lived on Lebanese food for 28 years. This toum IS authentic. I love it. I just discovered it and hope it will remain available for a long time. Thank you for evoking delicious memories and happy tastebuds.

First of all It’s very tasty - it’s not extremely potent so you can have as much as you want! If you want extra spicy I just grate a little fresh garlic in before eating. I contacted seller about concerns over arriving warm, and they informed as long as it has not separated (split) then it is good just refrigerate as soon as received! They were very kind and fast at answering my concerns. A little pricey but it’s a small business, as they get more orders they will be able to mitigate costs! Very good product and better than what i have made at home or bought from local restaurant where i live!

I was a bit skeptical to pay $24 including shipping for a 16oz container but it is so good! It came sealed up nicely and after I put it in the fridge for a few hours I tried it by itself and on a chicken sandwhich. It is so tasty and just what I was looking for. Very garlicly with a small bite, nice and creamy and the lemon juice makes it wonderful. It is so delicious and exactly what I was looking for. I may try to make some in the future myself but it is worth it to buy if you have never tried any or are just feeling lazy.

It shows garlic as the first ingredient and when I received mine, canola oil is the first and garlic is one of the last ingredients. Also shipped with no ice packs and product was warm.
