Snips Banana Guard, Yellow

I have been commuting to work on my bicycle and taking a banana to work every day for the past couple years, and my bananas would get absolutely thrashed. This banana container is wonderful. It puts a little bruise in one part of my bananas if they're more curved, but it is still so much better than before. I think it's a good shape and size. And that little tab on the end is surprisingly handy for carrying it inside the house if your hands are full. I throw it on the top rack in the dishwasher. I can't even imagine my life before this thing.

The previous reviews are correct. You do need to shop for a straighter banana. If not, you’ll end up crushing the banana or the case will not fully close. It does it’s job of not crushing my banana in my lunch so I can’t be too critical.

Love this banana holder! I used to carry a banana in my backpack purse and it always was bruised and/or got squishy...totally grossed me out. I bought this originally from a brick and mortar store and traveled all over the country with it! It got lots of comments from people everywhere I went...pretty funny! I unfortunately left it at a destination and had to buy a new one from Amazon. It is the same brand as the last one I had and I love it!

I like this because it saves us from getting fruit flies but I think it’s a bit pricey.

I really wanted to love this product, I love all of the other Snips products and I love that they're all made in Italy. This will keep your banana from bruising in your backpack, purse, lunch tote, etc. but it won't effect freshness. My main complaint is that only one out of every 3 bananas will actually fit properly, I'm not sure if it's because I buy only organic but the curve of the bananas I buy just isn't quite right for this holder.

This is exactly what I need to keep my bananas from getting crushed in my backpack on the way to work. I tried a different one but it was too small for average to large bananas. When this one wears out I fully intend to replace it with another just like it.

Does what it is supposed to do. For the bananas I have been buying, it is too straight; however, the bananas are able to fit in with minimal bruising.

This isn't even shaped like a banana. Terrible product, don't waste your money. I do appreciate the fact that when I went to return it, Amazon said not to return it but I still got my refund.

When I put my banana inside, I often have to jam it in so it fits. It is a bit snug, but it keeps my banana from getting bruised. I've gotten many compliments on my banana holder and I highly recommend.
