Great Filter (Highly Recommend)
I installed this water filter on my ice maker because the ice cubes were tasting weird with the filter that came with the machine. The installation was very easy and the tubing that came with my ice maker fit perfectly on this filter. I like that you are given a few mounting options for this filter. I used the adhesive mounts with the tie straps for my application. The best feature is…. the ice taste normal now.

Good Value for Good Ice
When our new fridge arrived I was surprised to discover that although it had an ice maker it had no water filter. This inline filter installed easily into the incoming water inlet and has provided clean, chemical taste-free ice ever since. I do not know if it will truly last 5 years (all previous filters were 6-month jobs), but we'll see! In the meantime, it was a great value.

Easy install, if you have You Tube.
Instructions are fairly sparse. I was able to watch a you tube video that answered my question. I seems to work fine n doesn't leak, which is all I can ask.

Hot water filter
Easy to install, if you’re mechanically inclined. Water tastes great and no water spots. By the way I am using the filter on a hot water dispenser on the kitchen sink. Thank you JWB

Make your ice taste better.
We have a basic refrigerator which doesn't dispense water but it does have an old-fashioned ice maker in the freezer. Our tap water is strongly treated and I bought this hoping that our ice would taste better, and it works great! Have you ever noticed how tap water ice just has a taste? This filter solved that problem perfectly. I just installed it inline with the water feed for the ice maker. I had to get a little creative since the included tubing wasn't exactly right but it worked out fine, needing no extra parts. Honestly, well worth what we paid.
