Best garden tool
This tool is a game changer for gardening. Very strong handle and goes deep into the ground. I use it to dig up weeds and to turn my garden beds. Also great for lifting vegetables out of my garden. Makes a great gift for gardeners.

Most Excellent Garden Fork!
This is an awesome tool for gardeners & non-gardeners! The tines are wider than on a conventional garden fork, so it does more work going through the soil, and is still lightweight enough to be easy to use. It's great for digging up vegetables with a lot less damage to them. It is higher in price, but very sturdy, made well, and totally worth the cost! It's useful for so many garden jobs; you will love it!

Great for turning and aerating a small compost heap!
This fork is quite beautifully made, and feels very sturdy. I primarily got it for turning and aerating a small compost pile, and it performs the job perfectly. The handle is relatively short, which is something to keep in mind if you're particularly tall and/or have a lot of heavy-duty work to do as you will probably fatigue pretty easy compared to a fork with a longer handle. The wood handle construction is very pretty, but can be rough on bare hands. I used mine wearing my gardening gloves though, so I had no issues. But all-in-all this feels like a tool I'll have for years to come. I'll be sure to update my review if anything changes. In the meantime, I can see myself getting more Berry & Bird tools in the future.

Great for aerating raised beds!
I bought this for my son and daughter-in-law. This is my daughter-in-law's review: Great fork! We had been using a pair of garden forks from another brand before, and they were great for removing the big rocks that were in our garden because they were solid steel. However, we have raised mound beds because of our high water table and using those forks to aerate them was too difficult because of the curve of the tines. So, we got one of these Berry&Bird digging forks because from the photos it looked like the tines were much straighter. They are indeed, and it does a great job of aerating the beds without being such a pain to pull it back out. Less time, less effort, less back pain. What's not to love? I only reserve a 5-star review because we've only used it once so far and so we don't know what it's durability is like over time. It does seem pretty sturdy, but unlike our other forks, this one is partly wood. So, we'll see.

perfect tool for it's first job
One of our mulched beds was getting filled by mock strawberry vines which at first seemed like an ok ground cover until they started mingling with the sedums and other perennials. I thought this might be a good use for a digging fork and it worked better than expected! Mock strawberries have thin vines and if you try to pull them by hand they can easily break off before coming out. I used this digging fork at a low angle to loosen the top layer then used the same tool to rake them out or I stuck the fork into the middle and twisted them up like in a plate of spaghetti. It worked great without upsetting the sedums too much! Then picking up the ball of vines with the fork and shaking it a bit dropped most of any dirt that got pulled up much faster than my more closely spaced bedding fork would have. Great tool!

Functional art.
This digging fork is a thing of beauty. You almost feel bad using it the first time until you feel the satisfaction of the tines going into the earth with authority. The craftsmanship is impressive and will likely outlast the big box tools. Not to mention they look like works of art. So glad I splurged for quality tools instead of settling for good enough. Oh, and their customer service is great too which I found out today. Would love to own more!

Garden Fork
I love this garden fork. It is the most sturdy fork I've ever used. Because it is so well made I find I spend about half as much time digging as I did before to prepare my garden for planting. The only thing I might change would be to add one more tine and make it wider. Highly recommend

Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Beautifully made of stainless steel with a sturdy lightweight handle. Like a fine instrument you want to keep using. Will probably last a lifetime. The wooden handle is supposedly weatherproofed but any coating seems very light as wooden still seems a little porous. I'd store it inside or perhaps add another layer of linseed/tung/danish oil.

This digging fork is a total game-changer! Its 4 strong stainless steel tines make turning soil, diving plants and pulling out roots a breeze. The wooden handle is comfy, and the fork feels sturdy yet lightweight. As a professional gardener, I use this tool almost every day and its stood the test of time. Plus its very aesthetically pleasing!
