We all know how flimsy, cheap, and thin are the covers that come with most multi-cell sets. Out of desperation, that’s what I THOUGHT I was buying. Now don’t get me wrong... $5.50 for an ounce or 2 of plastic?! Somebody’s making out pretty nice on these lids. But aside from that, I’m very impressed by their build quality. They’re heavier and thicker than any others that serve the same purpose (at least, that I’ve ever seen). They also fit the base with a little more wiggle room than others — which I think is a benefit. Not so much as to let out heat, though. I just got them today, so I haven’t used them, and obviously can’t rate them on anything having to do with length of life, or such. I just wanted to pass along that they APPEAR to be high-quality lids... just in case, like me, you’re waffling on buying them because they’re so outrageously expensive. *** UPDATE *** Indeed, they ARE well made! They honestly hold the moisture better and longer, due, I think, to their (heavier) weight. Very happy I bought them.

These covers are very strong, could be a little taller. But they do the job and are sturdy!!

I used these for my indoor cactus farm, and they worked great. It's not thick plastic and can break like most other domes, but for the price point these performed exactly how I expected. I would buy these again.

These are standard quality and fit the trays like you'd expect. Con - these come in a set of 5. They use a lot of cheap tape to hold the 5 pieces together in a group. When I removed it, the adhesive stayed on the lids which is going to cause dust/dirt to adhere to it and never look "clean". I can get it off with lemon oil but there's a good amount of adhesive, it's taking time. Please stop w/the tape - use saran wrap :-P
