I have had these for 4 1/2 years. I use them almost everyday. I have a used them on a wide variety of terrains with success. They are lightweight but sturdy! The folding design is easily used and helps when traveling. The only wear and tear are the pads but I only recently replaced them so in my opinion they are durable. It was much cheaper and higher quality than what my medical insurance would cover. I have recommended them to me y medical specialist providers with great confidence

I was in need of these folding crutches, but was hesitant due to the reviews about assembly being difficult. I have found that is absolutely not the case. There is no difficult assembly, no tools are required, and if necessary, there are detailed instructions online. They will be very helpful in my travels as I wait for upcoming surgery.

I saw reviews of how hard these were to assemble. Well, it would help if there were instructions in the box. That’s just lousy customer service. I’d give these 5 stars if they were included and clear. But, I was able to get them assembled and they are sturdy, easy to fold and place in the car. I am 6 foot, 172 lbs and happy with this purchase!!

I recently had an MCL and ACL injury and this crutches will be a life saver for when I have to use the plane. I added the white cord (a cord organizer strap) so that it won't flap open and accidentally hurt someone. To be honest though, it didn't come with any instructions, but I do like a small solving game and instructions are also found on the picture portion of this Amazon store. Anywhooo, I haven't fully used it, but I'll update if anything else happen.

These are a must. Folding makes life much easier getting in a car, plane, or mobility scooter. Just used them on a trip to Mexico and they worked great. Only negative I have is the rubber part on the bottom can get slick when you use them after a shower or wet floor in general. I bought new wider rubber feet and they dont slip now.

I would not recommend the Carex Folding Aluminum under arm crutches unless you have manual dexterity (strong hands) and upper arm strength required to push buttons and pull on the shaft of the crutches to enable the crutches to fold. I originally purchased this item for a trip I'm planning later this month after a recent foot injury. I will be returning the product to Amazon.com as I had to struggle for 10-15 minutes to get the crutches to separate so they could be folded in half.

These crutches are not light weight compared to just standard crutches, the weight is also low so it is very noticeable when swinging the crutches forward. Maybe it's because I am shorter so you just notice a lot of imbalanced weight below. Also, these are not particularly portable either. There is a bungee inside the tube that makes extracting and folding the crutches not that easy. You can fold them up, not on a regular basis. Maybe there is a trick and if there is, should put it online. Traded at local organization for plain old crutches.

Excellent product. I had a total knee replacement and I was worried about the sturdiness of them because they are folding crutches. But no need as they are very sturdy and easy to fold down for transport & travel. The first time was a bit tricky to get them sized but after the initial time, it's no problem. Highly recommend.

Funcionan perfecto, son resistentes y se doblan fácilmente en lugares donde suelen estorbar como en el auto o en un restaurante, etc. Solo hacen un ligero rechinido pero nada grave, las recomiendo

Great crutches. These are easy to assemble. Work great. I just had foot surgery and the crutches are perfect. I would recommend them.
