Great flops!!
I recently picked up a pair of Teva flip flops, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference in comfort. The footbed is incredibly cushioned and supportive, making them perfect for long walks, beach days, or just lounging around. What really impressed me was the fit—they hug my feet just right without feeling too tight or loose. They stay secure without that annoying flop some sandals have, and I never have to worry about blisters or discomfort. Teva has really nailed it with both style and functionality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flip flops that offer both comfort and durability. These are easily the best pair I’ve owned!

Excellent pair of inexpensive flip flops to walk around in.
These flip flops are really great! As you can probably tell from the name, the sole is slightly mushy on top, and feels like foam. Over time, the sole has slowly compressed into the shape of my foot, which is definitely a good thing - you can tell if you accidentally put on someone else's pair. I have found that the material slowly wears away though, so you can see the bottom layer peeking through (especially around the ball of your feet), but this is after about a year of medium-heavy use. It is true that the logo near the heel of your foot remains solid as the material around it conforms to your foot, but I've never had an issue with it. The construction is really fantastic. The strap has managed to stay securely tied to the flip flop base, and the material is comfortable. If your flip flop catches on the sidewalk, you don't have to worry about the strap separating from the sole. However, if you are prone to tripping, you might find that the foam-like upper layer slowly gets chipped off. It does soak up some water if you're walking in watery areas, as it isn't made of rubber. This means you will sometimes have to dry your flip flops, or feel the water as you walk in them. It's definitely not as bad as walking around in wet socks though, as the material isn't that absorbent. Overall, these flip flops are well made, soft, and comfortable, and I'll definitely be looking towards Teva for my next pair.

Not as mushy as Mush 1.0, but much better durability
These are definitely the second rendition of the Mush line, barely being mushy at all. Teva's Mush flip flops are a classic standby, being mushy enough that your feet sink into them thoroughly, while also being sturdy and waterproof enough to use as kayaking, canoeing, or river shoes. The problem with the old mush flip flops was that the give was enough that any dirt would tend to stay embedded in the mush, making them less than ideal for beaches or very dirty places. Furthermore the mush was so soft that it tended to wear out quickly, even if the actual soles of the flip flops did not. The new model, the Mush 2, is significantly less mushy than its predecessor, but is better designed for use in sandy areas and for longer durability. The soles are some sort of high durability thick foam rubber that's almost 1" thick. When you stand on it, about the top 1/4" flexes slightly, but your feet don't sink in completely like the older model. They're waterproof/durable like almost every Teva product, so they're now usable as shower shoes or beach sandals as well since they won't retain dirt and grime. The thong is a canvas upper with some sort of softer material on the part that rests against the top of your foot, while the part that splits your toes is made of the same slightly softer material (but still very durable) and curves the same as the webbing between your toes to keep it from chafing the insides of your toes. Overall these are probably some of the most comfortable flip flops I've worn, and definitely the most durable. The build quality is such that they're probably worth the $15 dollars, maybe $20 if you expect to use them a lot. If you're looking for a flip flop style with super comfort and plan to use them as regular shoes all the time, I'd go with the older model or a different model completely though. I got a pair that was apparently a less popular color that was 50% off and while I really like them, I don't see myself paying full price for them.

Perfect fit and comfort
I was reluctant to buy these after the negative reviews about the Mush II. Too many products have been "improved" to the benefit of the shareholder (improved profits) and not the user. These arrived a couple of days ago and I have played frisbee, walked the dog in the cemetery, and generally knocked around in them. They are nicely cushioned at this point, and the sole seems adequately stiff for shielding me from stones and flexible for movement of foot. The best for me was the closeness of fit to foot. I have worn flip flops since childhood, 50 years ago. I gradually learned that they are not boats. They only have to precisely cover the foot. If they are too big they are too lose and "floppy". They fly off the front of the foot if you are running to catch a frisbee or fleeing a rainstorm or dodging traffic. If they precisely cover the size of the foot they provide maximum adequate protection and they stay snuggly in place beneath your foot. I was worried about ordering, since I could not try them on. I generally have found that the "correct" size, when I try them in the store, is about a size smaller than my shoe size (10 - US). Fortunately the website listed sizes by various standards, including just measuring the foot length. Brilliant Idea! I measured by foot at 27 cm. and ordered a size 9, US. My rule of thumb worked again, and I could not be more satisfied with the fit. Whether they hold up over the rest of my life or just a year or two, I guess remains to be seen. If they last 2 years I will be paying about a dollar a month, which will be adequate value for me, Any life beyond that will be gravy.
