Also, it may seem an odd fact of space-time, however, being spacey over a brief amount of time, one gathers that the thing seamingly conforms to one's [let's be honest: rather unfathomable] region - granted, given one is, in pointed of fact, really more honeydew than watermelonheaded - not unlike, one imagines, the universality of the trending sought after Vulcan Mind-Meld. So, I really do have to, most vociferously, recommended: If you are thinking, there, stop being a big silly stupid head about it and purchase, toot-sweet-like; You'll be happy you did, In all likelihood. I purchased this beanie/skull cap/helmet liner to protect my head from sunburn as well as to use as a sweat band. I wanted something that did not look like a terry cloth prop from a 1970’s era dance movie with the added benefit of keeping my perfectly shaved gourd from contracting melanoma from sunburn. Likewise, I did not want a heavy or thick material designed to keep heat in. This item from Tough Headwear fit the bill. I chose the bright orange color because I have a similar cap (albeit inferior quality) from a competitor that is black. But that kind of negates the idea of keeping one’s head cool when you are running outdoors, in the sunshine, wearing a black cap that holds the heat. Besides, it matches my orange running shoes and can be seen from a great distance away. So if, in the unlikely event I get crushed by a car, I can at least say I did my part by wearing contrasting clothing and safety gear. Back to the beanie. It is lightweight and, unlike some other caps I own, does not fit so tight it feels like it is trying to squeeze my head in a vice. I wear headphones when I run and with other, tighter fitting caps, the headphones feel as though they are burrowing into my ears. The Tough Headwear fit as expected without being overly tight. It keeps the sweat from running into my eyes and, because of the material, dries fairly quickly helping to keep the noggin cool. It is very lightweight but I think it will also work as a head warmer when the weather turns cooler again. It probably won’t do the job as a winter cap though, which is fine with me. Super warm. I was genuinely surprised as to how warm it keeps both my head and ears on really cold days. It does a good job of trapping the heat. It doesn’t really good job of keeping the wind out completely. This is a great hat at this price and a great hat in general. I also love the safety colors.

Even on my winter long runs I end up having to take this off because it is so warm! For me it works great to start off my long runs and take it off once my body temp goes up. Very comfortable

A bit too snug for my size 8 cranium. I wear it sometimes in the cold, but it compresses my thoughts while keeping my ears warm. Their summer weight helmet liners, however, fit beautifully!

Fits great, not too tight or too loose. Stays put- I only have to pull down the section around my ears slightly when running long distances. Great heat retention- doesn't get too hot or too cold. Soaks my sweat up nicely. Appreciate the high vis colours and reflective detailing. I actually bought two more in different colours to mix it up! Would be a great gift for a runner/biker in your life!
