Works great. Very efficient, easy to grip and hold onto, need to hold it at a downward angle vs perpendicular to the box. We cut up 3 boxes. It did a great job of cutting the boxes. So far no battery issues. We will cut more up in a few days. Fingers crossed the charge lasts!

Works as seen in the videos. Makes breaking down boxes for the recycling bin so much easier and quicker. I have found other uses too like plastic packaging. I would hurt my hand trying to cut some of those packages with regular scissors. I had to charge it before use and it did take some hours, but I've used it quite a few times since then and it's still running strong. I'm happy with it.

I bought this cutter and a Ryobi model (from Home Depot) at the same time, thinking I would probably return this one. Surprise, the Ryobi is going back. Why? Because the Ryobi got hung up on boxes with its weaker motor, while the Worx would cut right through the same boxes. It was a side by side test. The ryobi has a better safety mechanism, where there's a button on the top and the bottom you press, which feels natural. This one you press one button the side then squeeze the button on the bottom. It takes some getting used to. I am taking a star off because frankly there is no excuse in the year 2026 to use an a/c adapter from the 1980s. This thing is so obsolete. Why isn't this usb-c like Ryobi and others? Ultimately, cutting performance is the most important thing, so I'm keeping it, but will probably buy a usb-c model when a name brand makes one. Aside from that, this is a great cutter and cuts through everything easily. Great size and weight, and easy to clean and change the blade. Nice carrying case too!

These work great on breaking down cardboard. They are easy to use and the case included makes storing it safe and convenient.

If you're here, you probably buy a lot from Amazon. I got so tired of tearing down or trying to cut the boxes my orders came in ...then I found these. Problem solved. I have other heavy-duty shears and box cutters, but these electric scissors are the best for quickly cutting down boxes so they fit in the recycle bin. What I like: 1) they are reasonably heavy-duty and cut boxes quickly 2) they operate smoothly, with few stutters getting through cardboard 3) being electric, they are easy to use and prevent hand fatigue 3) I LOVE that they are cordless, making them 100x easier to use than a corded version 4) they recharge quickly with the included charger 5) they come with a pouch included, keeping the charger with the tool in one place so I don't have to constantly hunt for the charger 6) they can be used for a wide variety of cutting tasks 7) they come with two additional blades I have several other Worx tools and have been very satisfied with all of them. That gave me confidence that these would also be good quality. I generally dislike having tools that are useful for only one purpose, but I get enough boxes from Amazon that it would be worth it if I only used them for that. The bonus is, they are useful for many other activities. In summary, these scissors are good quality, powerful for a variety of tasks, and VERY easy to use. Definitely Five Stars and I highly recommend them.

The color is ugly but theae function so good. Good weight not heavy feels ergonomically friendly when using. Cuts easy. Great utility cutter.

Item as described. Well packaged, arrived quickly. Rechargeable battery, and ambidextrous grip. Worked well on cardboard. Haven't had long, see how it holds up.

These electric scissors seem to work well and cut through cardboard cleanly. The build feels solid, and the rechargeable design is convenient. I initially thought the safety feature near the blade could be removed, which would have made the tool more versatile for different cutting tasks, but it seems permanent. That limits the potential use cases a bit. That said, I’m not completely sure how many real use cases I’ll have for it. It’s not one of those devices where it’s totally obvious that I always needed it. Most of the time, I just crush empty Amazon boxes with my feet and call it a day, so I’m not sure how often this tool will actually be necessary. It’s a neat gadget, but for my routine, it might end up living in a drawer more than I expected.

This product is to much good

This is great. Cuts up huge boxes really quickly. Very handy to have on hand.

They don't come with an English plug for charging they cut fibreglass sheet with ease and without frayed edges makes this job a breeze
