Acoustic Problem: As an independent music composer and sound engineer, I recently faced multiple acoustic challenges in my new studio. The room had persistent flutter echo, characterized by a metallic "zing" due to the long parallel walls, which was impossible to eliminate during mixing. Additionally, the bass response was boomy, making it difficult to accurately judge low frequencies. My portable vocal booth wasn’t sufficient to address the flutter echo issue. Solution and Purchase Experience: To address the acoustic problems in my music studio, I recently purchased several acoustic materials from Amazon. I looked at various product reviews but was still unsure about the quality. To start, I ordered three 2x4 ft acoustic panels and four bass traps (two tri traps and two corner traps). When the products arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by their quality. They were professionally made, which not only improved the sound but also enhanced the look of my studio. I noticed an immediate difference in the audio quality, which was a huge relief! Impressed with the results, I reached out to the seller and ordered more items, including additional panels, foam, timber slats, bass traps, and QRD diffusers to fully treat the room. The seller was very polite, responsive, and knowledgeable. They provided helpful suggestions on how to position the products based on my room’s layout and explained the acoustic properties of each item. I am also in touch with the seller to create some customized products. My studio setup is still in progress. Although I haven’t fully installed everything on the walls, corners, and ceiling yet, I can already hear a big difference in sound quality, and the main issues have been largely resolved. I plan to provide feedback on each item after more testing, but for now, I am really happy with my purchases from Amazon and Timber Acoustic. I definitely recommend their products! I bought 3 sets (so 9 panels in total) and they really helped to reduce reflections and echoes in my room. Things to be aware of: 1) They’re not all exactly the same size. They’re all off by a few centimetres which isn’t noticeable at first glance, but if you’re trying to be precise about things especially while hanging them up on the wall, do be weary you’ll have to counter for the human error in these panels. 2) The company’s logo sticks out like a sore thumb on 1/3 panels in every set. It especially stands out if you bought black like I did. Wish they would keep their logos only to the sides cause it gets in the way of aesthetics. 3) It comes with screws and base to hang it on which is nice but only on the top of the panel. So the bottom will freely rotate if you tamper with it and this also means you can’t use it horizontally right out of the box, if for whatever reason you wanted to. I recommend getting these if you have the budget, even a single set makes an immediate difference!

These are the best value for money panels, also 99% absorbent, with high-quality Rockwool and a 3-inch thickness that I found really effective to treat my home studio. I can say "Timber Acoustics" is the best in quality sound treatment material with fabulous service. If you find any problem with your panel, they will replace it immediately without any question, so just go for it. You will never regret buying these panels. These sound absorbing panels are game-changers! They've completely transformed my room into a quiet and productive environment. I am finally getting the audio quality from my home theatre equipments, before this I tried foam based products, but they did not make much difference. After installing these panels, it was amazing, all the noises and echo just disappeared, and I felt like I am in a studio, it absorbs all the unwanted echo, The panels are easy to install and blend in nicely with my decor.
