Awesome. Better than promised

Ok so I'm pretty standard guy 5'11 200lbs, 7.5inch hat size... And it fits pretty great! I did put a shammy cloth on the inside to give it a little extra padding cause in other photos is just some leather inside. I put it under the leather and really made it very comfortable. Wore it on and off at a RenFare and only took if off because it was hot out (didnt make me feel much hotter just a bit) Only caution I have is if you have a bigger nose you may have issues. I wouldnt describe mine is big but it was touching the front of the mask a bit but didnt bother me at all. It does come covered in mineral oil to help it from rusting, just take a rag or soft paper towel and wipe it off (i wouldnt recommend washing it) Only down side is the latch for the mask isnt great and once its unlached and flipping the mask up feels abit flimmsy but still good. Seriously loved it for the price!!!

This item works well, and looks very nice. The only issues I have is that the item scratches very easily if you plan to wear with chainmail. Also, if you plan to wear for multiple hours you start to have a metallic taste in your mouth from breathing in the oily metals. Otherwise, good piece!

Nice for costume. Dont expect to put this on and go do some buhurt or something, you will end up with scrambled eggs for brains. I have a relatively small head, im 5'8 160lbs, it was slightly loose BUT its perfect if you have a coif on or an arming cap.i didnt want an all black one and i didnt want polished, so i used some gun blue and WOW the metal took gun blue like a champ. Looks great. And when people say this thing comes oiled, it is OILED. Watch your fingers on the visor, no latch mech when flipped up, could be a little choppy if your not careful.

Looks great! The helmet was a snug fit, but not to the point it was uncomfortable to wear. The face shield being able to flip up and down and lock in place is pretty cool, and useful for eating or drinking, or catching your breath. Not a bad price for the quality, I'm happy with this helmet.

Front opens but it’s a little loose, might wanna tighten it a little bit. But it’s a great helmet I think!

I was really stoked to add this to my home office/man cave, but unfortunately, I had to send it back. The Good: Design: From what I could see, the "rustic" look is spot on. It has a great weight to it and doesn't look like a cheap plastic toy. Authenticity: The metal feels solid and the visor mechanism worked well. The Bad: Damaged on Arrival: The packaging was pretty weak, and the helmet arrived with a massive dent on the side and some deep scratches that definitely weren't part of the "vintage" look. QC Issues: Seems like a toss-up if you’ll get one in perfect condition or not based on how they ship it. It’s a cool piece if you get a lucky one, but for the price, I didn't want to deal with the damage. Returning was easy enough, but I’m hesitant to reorder unless the shipping gets better.
