This product fulfilled what I was after for a job I was working on. It worked seamlessly and was easy to install. Once connected to our Quinetic module and switch. It was just what our client asked for. Dimming at the touch of a button, nice and smooth.

Couldn’t use the item as it didn’t work with the LightwaveRF light switches. Had to choose a different product so not very fair to rate. Had to put a star rating however.

Bought for living room light. Easy to install

I’ve purchased 14 of these in different wattages to get them to work properly on my LEDs. They may dim a very small amount but then either flicker or cut off completely. I’ve now purchased another brand from an electrical wholesaler. Don’t waste your time or money on these….

This is one of many identical generic driver units that are re-badged by different chinese resellers. They are presumably all made in the same factory as their layout and specifications appear identical.Firstly, the packaging for this is very basic, just the unit inside a cardboard sleeve.The price at time of review for this model was £34.99My likes and dislikes are as follows:Like:Robust, heavy frameMultiple safety featuresLarge heatsinks, good coolingCompatible with dimmersDislike:Poor packagingA bit more expensive than other models-----------------------I have tested this with a 175W load I can confirm it stays reasonably cool in a room temperature of 21c. I didn’t push the wattage any higher as you should always leave a bit of room in a driver like this.There is a noticeable hum above 150W, but that will vary from unit to unit, and mine was certainly not a problem. Also remember this will usually be hidden away and so any noise will become ambient and barely audible anyway.Wiring it up was not a problem for my friendly electrician, but you will obviously need electrical wiring knowledge to get this working.He was impressed with the build quality, and said it was ‘a good bit of kit’.There are slightly cheaper 200W units of a similar spec available, but they will presumably be cutting corners to save costs.As always you should shop around and check as many reviews as possible.Overall this is a good driver at a decent price, but check you really need all of the power on offer here, as slightly less powerful units are significantly cheaper.

Excellent quality and value for money. Instantly connects to devices and holds signal/communication well. Seems well made and set to last.

Easy to install but the product causes pulsating at low level. I tried different dimming modes using varilight v pro dimming module. It also cut out after 20 min ou use.i would not recommend to use

Ho collegato questo alimentatore TRIAC a monte con un dimmer k4411c living now bticino e a valle da strip led 24v. Avevo dubbi sul funzionamento del triac 230V che invece mi ha sorpreso. Riesce ad arrivare fino al 5% della luminosità per poi spegnersi del tutto. Ottimo risultato per chi desidera dimmerare sulla 230V senza l'aggiunta di un dimmer sulla 0-10.Difetti ? Un po' rumoroso nella dimmerazione sulla fascia 40-60 %

Meine Küchen-Unterbaubeleuchtung ist derzeit noch eine Halogen-Birnchen-Anlage mit 20- und 50 Watt Birnen … die sollen nun ins LED-Zeitalter übersiedeln, nachdem schon einige durchgebrannt sind und ersetzt werden sollten.Jedenfalls sieht das gerade gelieferte AC DC Schaltnetzteil, man spricht ja bei LED-Beleuchtung eher vom Treiber/Driver, augenscheinlich sauber verarbeitet aus – irgendwie wächst damit mein Zutrauen, dass ich mit dem Gebrauch dieses Produktes nun nicht gleich mein Haus in Brand setzen werde. Mit 4.16 A kann man dem Driver offenbar einiges zumuten, es ist gut geschirmt, sollte aber 100% außer der Reichweite von Kindern verbaut werden, da man durch das Lochgitter im Prinzip ein offenes Gerät hat. Innenraumeinsatz bzw. witterungsgeschirmt verbauen. Auch darf kein Wasser reinkommen – also werde ich es oben auf den Oberschränken der Küche verbauen … und zwar auf einer Keramikplatte als Unterlage … Porzellankiste !Von Triac-Dimmen/SCR-Dimmen bzw 0-10V dimming habe ich zwar (noch) keine Ahnung, aber eine relativ gute Vorstellung anhand der mitgelieferten Bedienungsanleitung, englischssprachig, wie derartige Regler anzuschließen und zu verwenden sind. Das wird die Erweiterung der Küchenbeleuchtung künftig. Ein „Ambient“-Feeling stelle ich mir vor..Außerdem überzeugen mich auch die Voten anderer Kunden, die mit mehr Sachverstand die verbauten Elkos loben oder das offenbar stabile Verhalten bei Laständerung hervorheben, so dass ich denke, dass ich damit ein gutes Einsteiger-Produkt für eigene LED-Kreationen bis hin zu steuer- und regelbaren Installationen gefunden habe. Weil die Schaltfunktion des Produktes dauerhaft ungenutzt zu lassen, dafür hätte ich wohl auch einen wesentlich günstigeren Trafo kaufen und anschließen können. Allerdings hat „Cracko“, der offenbar besten Sachverstand mitbringt, beschrieben, dass das Dimmen nicht einfach stufenlos realisierbar sei, dieses Netzteil hat offenbar eine Eingangsschwelle und springt von 0 gleich auf 12V und lässt sich von da ab weiterregeln. Das ist nun auch nicht meine Vorstellung gewesen und ich bin gespannt, ob ich das zur Zufriedenheit hinbekomme, wenn ich mir einen entsprechenden Regler dazu besorge.Na ja, vorerst nutze ich das Schaltteil ungeschaltet als Trafo – geht zunächst auch, und bei 80 Watt Dauerausbeute kann man gut 20-40 GU5.3 oder GU10 LED-Lampen verbauen mit 2 bis 4W !

Ottimo prodotto, taglio di fase preciso , nessuna ricorsa al carico anche alla minima intensità. Rumore quasi impercettibile. Consigliatissimo

Testé en charge et sans charge, l'alim à découpage tient bien les 24 Vcc sans soucis. De ce coté, elle semble de qualité.Reste que ce type d'alim, plutôt réservé à l'industrie n'est pas très adapté au domestique. Pour bien faire, il faudrait la mettre dans un coffret dédié, mais ventilé. Beaucoup trop de composants sont apparant.Sinon, on peut l'accompagner d'un variateur de lumière, soit en entrée via un variateur classique (genre éco variateur Legrand) ou alors, par une entrée dédié via des variateurs à commande 0-10V (utilisé par certaines réglettes fluos). Perso, je n'ai pas testé le branchement d'un variateur.Bref, une bonne alim pour le moment, mais a voir dans le temps. Certaines alim à découpage ne sont pas toujours très fiables.PS, c'est une alim que l'on trouve sous différentes marques mais 100 % identique.
