Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Ink, 1.0 oz, Van Dyke Brown (800815-23BY)

I love this brand for use in my art projects. The colors are rich and buildable and the dropper operation is smooth. A little goes a long way and the bottle lasts a long time.

I do not do calligraphy...just ask my mother about my penmanship. However, at the recommendation of the great Gamza from Youtube, I ordered black, brown and van dyke brown to be used as washes for miniatures. Even straight out of the bottles, these inks are fantastic in then coats. Surprising coverage without the usual pilling from cheaper inks. Maybe I WILL take up calligraphy, after all.

Horrible. After it dries & pretty much flakes completely off. I did it two times same terrible results.I wish I cld give it 0 stars.

I was looking for Nick Bantok's Van Dyke Brown and seeing as it was no longer available, I opted for this product. I am very satisfied as it is about the same thing colorwise and what I was looking for. Thank you for a quick delivery.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE COMPANY DID WITH THE OLD INKS BUT THESE "INDIA" INKS ARE NOT THE SAME QUALITY AS THOSE OF THREE YEARS AGO. I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN AS THEY ARE NOT SHEER NOR DO THEY FLOW EASILY, EVEN WHEN SPRAYED WITH WATER ON HOT PRESSED WATERCOLOR PAPER
