Does the phone come with a charger

It comes with 2 chargers: 1) An AC cube with USB socket on top. A cable plugs into that USB socket, and the other end of the cable has a C USB plug which plugs into the side of the phone. 2) Or you can use that same AC cube and cable to plug the cable into the dock's USB C socket. And then just drop the phone into the dock and it will charge. The dock can stand on your nightstand or desk. Ours seems a more reliable dock interface than previous Jitterbug phone docks. It always seems to align perfectly when you drop in the phone. Of course you car probably already has an USB socket. So just plug the wire into that and then 1) or 2) works just like it does in the house. There is nothing else to buy if your car has any USB socket.

They can assign you a number. Make sure, however, that it didn't belong to someone else. When my husband used his Jitterbug to call someone, caller ID showed as some woman with a really odd name. We could never get that issue resolved, so he was assigned a new number. That number showed up as 'wireless caller', which wasn't satisfactory, either. We tried three times to get his old Verizon number transported to GreatCall, but that never worked because Verizon sends a transport code that is only good for 10 minutes. GreatCall didn't put in the transport request for 24 hours. That's when he was assigned the number for Tryxy Bishop, for crying out loud. I set Alexa up for him, but he hated having to ask Alexa to ask Lively to call someone. Also, having to push the OK button multiple times for every single function was exasperating. I finally sent the phone back to Amazon and had his old phone reactivated with Verizon. GreatCall sets up an account and sends monthly bills, if you decide to keep the Lively Flip phone.

Great Call Owns Jitterbug. In fact "Lively", a BS Creation oF Great Call/Jitterbug sells the Jitterbug/Great Call devices from phones to the overpriced emergence heĺp device. Intestingly, "Jitterbug"/ Great Call charge $90plus for this exact same phone. For Lively, Its a loss leader for Great Call phone service. Check Internet & Youtube for the many complaints about poor service, very poor English of Customer Service personel. These phones are not easy to use. Like Wow & Telikin Computers (which are the same computers), Extremely overprice outdated tech. Driven by a very small version of Linux O/S. Likewise they are Not Intuitive or easy to use. I bought one of the 22" all in one desktop PCs they sell for $1100-1500 for $250 off EBAY. it was unused, owned by a 70 year old who couldn't use it. I've had it 3plus years, hasn't been updated ONCE! What's AARP doing about these companies? Nothing, except accepting funds from them & selling them a lot of ad space in AARP Magazine.

AT&T is now 5g and you have to make sure the unlocked jitterbug is 5g as well otherwise it won’t work. The jitterbug I purchased is 3g and won’t work. This change just happened Feb 2022.
