This is a beautiful, little box which makes a wonderful present for a woman, girl, or teenager. It seems to be very well-made and is beautiful! It is made of natural materials and is a work of art. The detail is stunning. The only minor complaint that I have is that when I received it, I could smell the glue. However, since I ordered it early I have it out of its box and open so that the odor can dissipate before I give the gift. If you want to give this as a gift, then make sure you order it several weeks early so that if it was just manufactured it will have time to air out. I would buy it again and I would recommend it as a gift.

There are blemishes and bubbles all over the box, it is pretty but it seems to be made in a rush. There is brown glue streaks in it as well that really throw off the glow on the trinket box. The top is very pretty, but I am still disappointed unfortunately.

It's very tiny; I saw the dimensions--but it was still smaller than I expected. Beautiful, though.

This little trinket box is beautiful and very well made. It is very shiny and vibrant as it should be given the Mother of Pearl inlay. The box is nicely lacquered with no blemishes or irregularities anywhere on the finish. The lid fits perfectly. I purchased it as a gift for a friend and I have no doubt she will like it.

This was purchased as a Xmas gift for a dear friend. I have no doubt that she will love it as she appreciates beautiful things. I was surprised to see the box was also lined in mother-of-pearl, proof of fine craftsmanship.

The box was much smaller than it appeared in the picture on Amazon. The workmanship was very nice, but the box is light. It is not heavy like wood. It feels like plastic or cloisonné. The design is intricate and beautiful. The lid is detached, but fits nicely. Well packaged and arrived quickly.

It's beautiful I kept it but for the price an size I wouldn't have ordered it But it is very attractive an unique real abalone so great gift it can only hold a few ankles an a bracelets soooooooo small
