This day cream really works.

Excellent SPF day cream which can be used solo or over serum without caking and disintegrating. I love that it's not greasy at all and applies very nicely and evenly. Because it only contains SPF23, I use a higher SPF --f 30 or 50--on my face during extreme summer heat and longer sun exposure. I'm on my second bottle, and I can recommend it very highly.

This is the best face cream. It is very moisturizing without being greasy and smells great!

This goes on smooth and easy doesn’t leave any white residue. I didn’t have any breakouts or bad reactions but for me it’s not moisturizing enough to stand alone as a moisturizer and not enough SPF to stand alone as a sunblock. So I won’t be ordering more.

This is a great day cream with a moderate degree of protection against sun exposure. I though the idea of a 3-in-1 product (a moisturizer, a sunscreen + a defense against signs of aging) was interesting and would help me save a step in my morning skin care routine. I have very dry and sensitive skin that gets dehydrated very easily and tends to become rough. This cream does seem very hydrating, although the degree of sun protection isn't high enough for me, and I still need to use a sunscreen. I've been using this for a couple of weeks and haven't really noticed any changes in the texture of my skin or anything other than the temporary lessening of wrinkles and lines that I get with almost any of my moisturizing creams. I imagine any permanent change would take weeks or months. This cream isn't as light-weight as I expected and it doesn't spread easily over my skin -- probably because my skin is so dry. Perhaps it goes on more smoothly for those with less dry skin. Once on, the cream is absorbed quickly, leaving no greasy feeling or white caste. It causes no irritation. This a well-formulated product, but it just seems as if it is not quite right for my skin. The current price of $71.99 for only 1.7 ounce is rather pricey, but for those with the right skin type, this is likely an excellent product. It arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed.

This is a review of the Alchimie Forever Protective Day Cream SPF 23. I have older, dry skin and am always looking for quality facial creams and lotions. I also have very sensitive skin so it can be challenging. Saying that, I really like this protective day cream. This cream feels and looks very luxe. I usually don’t like scented skin products because my skin is so sensitive, but this one has been no problem for me and I love the scent; sort of a mix of blueberry and clean so not floral nor overpowering. The only thing I would note is that a little does not go a long way; my skin absorbs it right away which is great but I need to use a lot of it at a time. Still, the price is up to the consumer/buyer. Just know this really is wonderful combination of facial cream that also protects against the sun. Recommended.
