I recently got a new Apple Watch and I've been looking for a better band that was more suited to my situation, something that was durable, comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and something that didn't destroy my bank account the way the bands from Apple do. I settled on this one, in black, and it's perfect!It's heavy duty so it has some heft on your wrist (I like that) and very solidly made. The links were easy to remove and replace for sizing purposes, and the band even came with a little tool and extra pins to make the process smooth. The black is gorgeous and pairs well with the new midnight blue watches from Apple.Overall, if you're looking for quality, comfort, and affordability, look no further! Kades as got you back!

I usually don't like doing reviews but darn it this is the best band I've come across as far as not scratching when you accidentally run it agains a wall or some tiny hit. I usually don't like spending more than $15 on accessories so I bought this one since someone said it was good quality and I have to say, this is worth the $21. Looks very slick and expensive maybe even a bit elegant.Unfortunately the silver does show thru the links when you look at it from the right angle, wish it was black everywhere but that's ok.It was also pretty difficult to remove links because the pins are kinda cheap but once I removed plenty of links it fits freaking perfect.

I was very satisfied with this watchband until it broke while I was detaching it from my Apple watch. Of course, the break was not a replaceable pin or segment but at the pin hole in a non-replaceable segment, thus making the band unusable. The band was only 6 weeks old and the metal around the pin hole failed so I emailed the seller to report the problem figuring it should be covered under their warranty. The seller responded with a day, apologized and agreed to replace the band, which they did promptly. The band is comfortable and attractive so I am happy to be wearing it again. However, I cannot be sure if this was a one-off problem so I will be even more cautious whenever I try to detach the band. I deducted one star because of this failure but not more because the band is otherwise satisfactory and the seller was promptly responsive to the issue. I would recommend to others unless there are recurrent reports of a similar failure.

This watch band fits Apple Watch Series II just fine. Once the connectors are inserted into the watch, they remain in place. However, removing/adding links can be cumbersome. Although it's definitely easier than with older watch bands, some of the spring-loaded pins which hold the links together, are difficult to put back in place. On my band, a couple of pins wouldn't return to their original position, risking the link to become loose and open, which can result on your watch falling down.Additionally, it was difficult to engage the locking mechanism on the clasp (one of the sides always "clicked" in place, while the other side would do it just sporadically).Keep in mind the band adds considerable weight to the watch. Some people are OK with that (and actually prefer it that way) and some others, like me; find it too heavy and cumbersome.

So, I have both the silver and black versions of this band and I have to tell you.. judging from the reviews.. they must have read them and addressed the clasp, because I've held off doing this review till I could wear the black one non-stop for over a week and even to bed Every Night! It has yet to pop open by accident. I merely take it off to charge the phone each morning while I shower and dress for work. I LOVE this band!! It's classy with a suit and still causal (in black) enough to go with everything you wear. I found that adjusting the links to get the perfect fit was super easy. I actually added back one link, so I did do the process twice and found it was no big deal. It's as comfortable as the Milanese loop, But,, I find this one really classy and less common than all the other bands out there. I love that it's not bulky and sleek to the wrist. Best looking band out there in my opinion.

Update: 7th Feb: As I was wiping it today with a cloth, one of the links came out. Looking at it closely, the retaining pin seems ok so I suspect the hole of the culpable link is probably too shallow or has worn out. I did suspect when I bought it that the workmanship was not really up to par but what can one expect for that price. Suffice to say I’m not using it anymore as I don’t want it breaking loose on me when I’m out in the open. It is also not worth my while to diagnose it fully to see if other pins or links would have similar issues.Update 8th Jan: The seller contacted me to explain that the tools are the same as SIM card removal ones and that I could use those instead. In addition they stressed that they check every single strap before shipping and that this one must have fallen through the cracks. In any event, no other blemishes have appeared in the last few days of use. They offered a partial refund and this plus their promptness in replying speaks well for them.Just received it an hour or so ago. It’s not difficult to remove the links to fit my wrist but I have two negative impressions. Firstly the two “tools” used for removing the links are very fragile. Both broke and though I managed to use the stubs to do the job, I hope I never have to adjust the links again. I also hope the actual pins used to hold the links together are of better quality. It only needs one to break and one’s whole watch will drop to the floor. Secondly, mine is the space grey black version and even before adjusting the length I could see one spot where the underlying “silver” color could be used. I wonder how many exposed spots there will be with prolonged use.
