Can be difficult to find depending on where you live. Will work with both large chickens and turkeys. These are large. Meat cooks faster and keeps the oven clean.

Positives: Mit der Weihnachtsgans stand ich auf Kriegsfuß. Ich bin selbst erstaunt, wie gut das Braten in der Folie klappt. Ob ganze Gans, Potenbrust oder Hänchenoberschenkel - das Flesch schmeckt zartgekocht, die Haut wird braun und durchaus etwas knusprig. (Für das Aroma packe ich noch ein wenig Suppengemüse und Kräuter in den Beutel.) Neutrales: Zum Verschließen nutze ich einfach ein Stück Nähgarn. Die beiliegenden Verschlussteile finde ich unhandlich und unpraktisch. Mit dem Nähgarn kann ich die Folie so locker oder fast abbinden, wie ich das möchte. Wenn man die Folie nicht zu fest zubindet, dann lässt man eine kleine Öffnung frei. Dadurch muss auch keine Ecke an der Folie abgeschnitten werden und der Bratensaft läuft nicht so stark aus.
