Excellent deal with this kit! It is very beginner friendly, but even for someone skilled like me, it’s a fun addition. I do smaller projects that I crochet for random acts of kindness and the yarn has so many color choices; fun ones at that! I like having the user manual that shows the different stitches (because sometimes I have a moment of forgetfulness), stitch abbreviations, and how to read the crochet symbols which is something I’ve been wanting to learn. The plastic accessory kit inside has everything you’ll need. I REALLY love the hooks that came with it because I don’t have much of a pincher grasp due to an old injury between my thumb and index finger, so the grips really help. Hook quality is nice! They would be great for young kids just starting out. They have a nice grip and feel. I love that there are stitch markers and a row counter included, it definitely will be a great addition to helping me keep track and place. Now I will say this as far as the yarn but won’t remove the 5 stars because I knew what I was getting, they are small, but that’s okay by me because I can go by bigger skeins of yarn in a similar or close color if I like it. The yarn quality is nice; it’s a little thinner than I expected but for what this yarn is going to be used for, it’s actually perfect. The tote bag is the perfect size and nice quality; everything fits in nicely and I can take it with me if I want to crochet along the way or wherever I go. Plus being able to see inside without opening is neat. It’s definitely better than the shoebox of things I have! So for beginners, kids wanting to learn, anyone wanting to make small gifts, this is definitely a great choice especially for the price!

Excellent kit for beginners like me, came with absolutely everything needed to get started (as advertised), all the tools, user manual, lots of yarn colors and even a QR Code that directs you to a YouTube page for beginners! Only negative takeaway, is the yarn is super small, much thinner than the yarn I see in How-To videos BUT I also found a video that shows how to turn the thin pieces into thicker pieces so it works for now and when I get better I’ll go out and buy better yarn…But this kit definitely puts me off to a great start! 🥰
