Simple and Fun
The Mini Shot 3 is a fun camera, photo, and printing system. The app is simple and intuitive. I admit the picture is a small, but it's called the Mini Shot 3 and the description clearly stated 3X3. It functions as it need to. Colors are good. It's portable, you can definitely take it with you. Lighting can be better, meaning the flash, but taking day time photos works well.

The negative reviews seem unjust.
I rarely write reviews, but upon purchasing and using this product and seeing the onslaught of negative reviews, I had to sit down and type one out. First, I do not understand the negative reviews. Maybe some critical thinking skills aren't being applied when others have bought this product. You see lots of "My iPhone/Android camera takes better quality pictures!" in the complaints. Let's dissect this. Most smartphones nowadays retail for nearly $1,000 in total, and a key element in their advertising is not only the quality of the built in cameras but the constant improves from model to model. Of course, a smart phone camera is going to produce better quality pictures. It's one of the reasons we spend our hard earned money on them. If all we needed was a device to call and text, we'd still be using flip phones. Let's put our thinking caps on and remember why the little computers in our pockets can take excellent if not astounding quality pictures - because they're built to! Now, this Kodak camera does state it prints "superior photo" quality, but it does not boast "state of the art" quality or even "smart phone" quality, because it knows its place and that would be a flat out lie. Read the fine print, people! Superior does not automatically equate to breathtaking, especially when you look at the product itself. Once again, this is a basic camera/tool. It is not built to be an equal to a smartphone which is essentially, as I said, a mini-computer; It is not built to be an equal to even the lowest tier of professional photography cameras. It IS however, built to be a simple, basic photo taking device that you can also connect to your phone, iPad or other supported device if you choose to. It does what it says on the box, so I am happy with this purchase. I suspect other customers were expecting something far more complex and souped up, and that is not what this camera is. Now, the only cons I have for it is that printing process is a little slow, but it takes less than a minute. The paper quality is good though, so I'll let this slide. You can't have everything, especially if you're buying something that is quite budget when it comes to bells and whistles. And that's another thing I'd like to mention - this prints on modern day photo paper. Do not expect the thick, flimsy paper that actual polaroid cameras printed on. If that's what you're after, then you'll be better off heading over to eBay or a pawn shop. This is a modern take on an old school favorite. Understand what you're buying, and you will be a satisfied customer.

works til it doesn't
It worked for awhile. And the prints were ok. But no longer does. I had it stored for a year. But in a nice case to keep it protected. Also bought a bunch of cartridges at the same time as when i bought the printer. Fired it back up and it misprinted an image. I thought maybe the printer was dry or something. Checked to see any jams, but I don't see any... (but its also hard to really see into. But it looked clear. Replaced with a brand new cartridge still in plastic. Printer won't pick up the paper. I thought, maybe its the new cartridge that was faulty. Replaced it with another new, just out of the plastic cartridge and that also will not work. And there doesn't seem to be a trouble shooting option for that error.

Cartridges need to be improved.
I’d already submitted a review on this that I rated at 5 stars. That was until one of the cartridges was a bad one I had to replace. I think the camera itself is good, The cartridges need to be improved upon.

Printed my joy instantly
Compact, cute, and surprisingly good quality. People lined up for pictures like I was running a pop-up photo booth. It’s cute, easy to use, and makes everyone stop scrolling and actually look at something.

Perfect
This is perfect when you want to save a picture vs it being on your phone. I bought this as a gift for friends traveling so they could capture the moment and keep it in their travel book. Fabulous.

Works Well...but
The KODAK Mini Shot 3 Retro 4PASS 2-in-1 Instant Camera & Photo Printer is a decent gadget for anyone who loves instant photography, but it has its pros and cons. On the positive side, the retro design is stylish and compact, making it easy to carry around. The 4PASS printing technology produces fairly vibrant and sharp prints, and I appreciate that it functions as both a camera and a portable printer. However, the image quality can be inconsistent—some shots come out great, while others appear slightly blurred or grainy, especially in lower lighting conditions. The app connectivity is a bit hit or miss, sometimes requiring a few attempts to sync with my phone. Additionally, the printing speed is slower than expected, taking around a minute per photo. Battery life is just okay—it lasts long enough for a short outing but requires frequent recharging if used heavily. I also found that the cost of replacement photo cartridges can add up, which makes it a bit pricey in the long run. Overall, it’s a fun gadget for casual use and instant photo lovers, but don’t expect professional-quality prints or flawless connectivity. It’s good, but not great.

Everything You Could Want In a Camera
As someone who enjoys a good bit of nostalgia, convenience, fun, and a good-quality camera, the Kodak mini Instant 3 retro was one of the best purchases I’ve made. First and most importantly, I have to talk about the image quality. Along with being a camera, it is also a printer that you can print from your phone. I was expecting photos like the ones from an instant mini Polaroid. The Kodak Mini blew any Polaroids out of the water. It doesn’t take long to print, easily less than 30 seconds. The actual photos are vibrant and colorful and are smudge-free. The camera, of course, is important to talk about. It’s user-friendly with only two buttons. One to turn the camera off and on and another to take the photo. The viewfinder provides guidance and helps to frame your shot. Additionally, the camera has a sleek and somewhat retro look which doesn’t look out of place when you go places and because of the size, you can take it with you basically anywhere. Another factor about this camera that just does it for me is that it isn’t just a camera. It’s a printer to, a printer you can use to print photos directly from your phone. It’s a great feature for those moments you want to cherish and remember but weren’t able to catch directly on your camera. I think it’s also important to talk about battery life when it comes to any technology and in this case, the battery life of this camera. Most importantly, this camera is charged by a cord so you don’t have to worry about going through a bunch of batteries. The Kodak Mini 3 also holds a charge really well. It can go for hours without being charged. It’s a camera that I would recommend to anyone who wants to capture important and cherished memories but doesn’t know how to or can buy a large bulky camera. This is a small and sleek camera that is easy to take with you and a printer that produces good-quality pictures. Personally, I think it’s worth the money. I bought more expensive cameras and they were fine but this is the one that has left an impression.
