What a cute and original gift idea. Arrived promptly and is very straightforward to use. That said, if you use the 2 part mix they give you, then you better be very quick and have a coopertive pet. The material cures very quickly and my dog ran from me once he knew what I was up to. The good news... the vendor is super responsive and sent replacement material that takes days vs minutes to dry. Gives you lots of chances and time.Pro tip.. try it when your pet is chilled out as the action of covering their nose might scare them. My aussie ran from me and gave me a look of... how dare you! I'm very happy with the end result. I didn't have any issues with the putty after following instructions exactly. I made the mold a week before my precious 19 year old dog passed, and I'm so very glad that I did. Out of an abundance of caution, I let my mold dry for several days before mailing it to them.My dog had passed by the time I was ready to mail my mold, and three weeks went by with no word. I got worried and emailed the seller directly through an email address I located on their website, and they responded to me right away with a tracking number. Initial seller communication could be improved, but maybe most clients aren't dealing with a loss and probably don't have the same anxiety with the wait. A confirmation should go out once they receive your mold, but I never got one.TIP FOR THE MOLD: Form the putty into a ball. Smush the edges around your pet's nose for a better result. I should have read reviews first for pointers, but that's my own fault for not doing so (even so, my product still turned out beautiful).I hope the seller reads this review and realizes that they should improve communication and provide tracking info without being asked. But that's a minor complaint. Or maybe something went wrong and I never got the notification that I initially expected. Who knowsUltimately, I'm so glad that I purchased this item and will soon order a second for a pendant. It looks so unique and it's exquisite! So happy.

My boy friend did this for me a year before my fur baby passed away . I started wearing it , after he passed and this has turned out to be one of the greatest gifts . I still have his nose to feel and kiss . I have purchased one for my son of my grand dog , for when that unfortunate time comes for him . This is an amazing gift . I highly suggest it . Very easy to take the impression .

We knew that it was almost time for my dog of 17 years to be put to sleep. As we discussed the options with the vet, she mentioned this kit that you could buy to make a nose print of your pet and that they would even do the mold for me when my dog passed. I ordered the kit that very day (just in case) and received the kit two days later. It was just in time because our dog took a turn for the worse and we had to put her to sleep the day it arrived. I can’t believe how amazing the pendant keychain turned out! Just a side note, the paper you fill out says you can only engrave 3 letters in the pendant but if you call and talk to the company, they are great and will try to fit as many letters as they can on it for you. I spoke with Brandt and he was so helpful. I ended up ordering the gold necklace too after I saw my keychain! The best part is, they keep the mold FOREVER so you can always make future purchases if you that’s what you decide.

I am SO pleased with this item. I have a big dog with a big nose. I contacted Precious Metal Prints customer service to ask if they would combine 2 kits in one print. They were very helpful and agreeable. Today I received my large awesome print of Zeke’s nose. I will treasure this forever. Great quality and great customer service.

We purchased this to make a moment of our dog who is declining. The mold set up so fast we couldn’t get a clear imprint. We’ve tried contacting the company for a replacement and have received no answer. Wasted money as we can’t send the mold in.

I can't rate the ease of making the actual impression yet. The brown paper, tiny print, and folding creases make the instructions next to impossible to read.
