Silvervine Powder for Cats – Great for Toys & Scratchers

So I have bought this product a couple of times for 2 years now. I have 2 boy cats that are from different families and both of them love the silver vine. As soon as I get it out the drawer and they recognise it, they both want to snatch it from my hands so they can lick it. I not long ago introduced this to my neighbours cat as he never had silver vine before. He was sceptical at first but I put it on the floor for him and after realising what it was he really enjoyed it. He was rolling around the floor trying to get himself covered in it and even attempted to lick it. It was a very funny sight. Because I left some of it in our garden from trying it with the neighbours cat, a lot of the neighbourhood cats started showing up to that same spot where I left some of it in the garden. One big black cat I’ve never seen before showed up and rolled around in it, and not long after another cat I’ve seen rarely who wanted a taste and a roll around in it as well. I think this silver vine is amazing and it seems many different cats love it which I wanted to know lol. I will definitely order more again when I run out. The cats seem to like the silver vine more than catnip.

The Silvervine powder works very well for our cats, they really get excited when a small pinch of the powder is sprinkled on their toys, if anything they are a little more aggressive than if we use Catnip, Catnip tends to chill them out more and has a more calming effect. whereas with the Silvervine they really get excited and slightly more aggressive by the smell.

Lid is impossible to open. I was going to return but ended up getting a neighbour to open it, which he had to do by cutting the metal. Once opened the cat was going mad for it. Very effective and the smell is obviously brilliant, as he was already waiting even when the lid of excalibur was on. Doesn’t last long when down.

My cat goes crazy for this! It’s a powder instead on the usual herb like ones you get.

Lid is too tight for me to open the tin! The cat is very interested by the smell coming from it!

Waste of money my cat sniffed it and walked away and he loves silvervine. I'm unsure if this dust is even what it says it is.

Seems expensive but you get LOADS in the tin! My boy loves it, he goes crazy when he gets near it, rolling and dribbling, he loves the nip from Mew too but the silvervine powder is something else! It’s very obviously good quality, like nip, he doesn’t want it constantly so as a treat it’s AMAZING! Got a new cat tree and I used this powder to get him on it so great for distraction and training. Love it

Our Bengal never paid any attention to catnip. So I did research and came across silvervine and got some shipped from Japan... and it worked! I had no idea how fast that stuff happened - I turned around and Bengal is on his back licking the wall and singing the song of his people. Luckily, he came down fast. We now have an Ocicat and I got him his first tin of silvervine. Butterballs and I opened the package and were delighted to see it comes from a small farm in England! We got our tin, but, additionally, we got a little bag of cat nip and a little mouse! Before I'd even found the mouse, Oci Boi started singing and jumping around. Seems just being close to the bag gave the mouse enough 'kick' to make Butters go in to wildman mode. So we (Butterballs and I) give this Four Paws Up!
