My spice cabinet has two "fast movers" - this and bacon salt. Chicken salt is such a useful seasoning. I first heard about it as a preferred french fry seasoning in Australia (though, I believe their version actually has chicken in it and this stuff is vegan). It definitely does that job well. It's also an amazing seasoning to use in making home made soups, sauces, and gravies. It wakes up the taste of mac and cheese or a sandwich. Sometimes I'll dust a salad with it and skip the dressing. I wish it wasn't so expensive - this 3-pack is the least expensive way I've found to get it, but that's still a lot to pay for a basic seasoning and at some point I'll have to try mixing my own or sampling other brands. In the meantime, though, this is indispensable in our kitchen.

I purchased this to use for my visiting sister-in-law who is a vegetarian.. we are not, but I had read about this seasoning and was curious to try... it was a hit! Now she has to have it all the time...

Ok, as a vegan, I often miss the ramen noodles from my college days! This seasoning tastes EXACTLY LIKE THE CHICKEN RAMEN NOODLE SEASONING! My non-vegan, PICKY children love this stuff! I add it to soups and tofu and my kids can't tell the difference! Great buy and a must have for the vegan pantry.

We have been trying to eat clean but that seems hard to do in America. Food ingredients here are bad (maltodextrin, MSG, yeast extract, food dyes, dextrose, etc) and I know if we keep going like this I am looking at piles of medical bills in the future. This chicken salt is great alternative to chicken granules/bouillon or even the infamous Better than Bouillon. I use this in soups/broths and it gives my dishes an extra oomph. It’s a little expensive but if I’m gonna put anything in my body it has to be great quality. Been using this for a year and I’m still happy with it. Won’t ever go back to using the bad stuff.

My friend from the land of Oz shared an article on cool food unique to the land down under, and some of them looked really appetizing. I turned to Amazon to see if any of the things I wanted to try were carried and lo and behold, chicken salt was on my search result. Marmite and Vegemite were there too but I'm not that daring yet. Chicken Salt is apparently super popular on "chips" aka french fries to us heathen americans. So the day it arrived I headed over to my favorite greasy burger joint and ordered a side of fries, hold the seasoned salt. The cook looked at me sadly, but I soon had an order of saltless fries waiting to be poultry-fied. I opened the canister and my first reaction was a flashback to high school when I subsisted on budget ramen. The idea of ramen fries did not make me salivate, so I carefully separated out a few fries and sprinkled the salt on. The salt melted into the oil and they tasted pretty decent. I used the seasoning on the rest of my fries but I think I'll stick to seasoned salt with them still. The salt is very good in other recipes though, especially fried chicken. I want to try it on steak fingers too. I would recommend this seasoning to anyone looking to try something different from another country, or for vegan with a hankering for chicken flavor. I personally won't be replacing any of my current seasonings but I will be adding it to my cupboard.

arrived on time I do appreciate that. The flavor of this is so flavorful. I use it on cubed steak, cubed pork chops, salads, eggs, casseroles, grits, and anything else I can find to put it on. Thanks for a great find!!

This is one of the best seasonings ever! I find other seasonings to be too salty and this one is chefs kiss! Im glad 3 came in the pack and not one which allowed me to use over and over again! Best Seasoning ever!

Flavor is spot-on perfect, but it's very salty and can only be used sparingly.
