Terra Formars, Vol. 1 Paperback – July 15, 2014

This series is edgy, has gore, fanservice, and badass fights. There's horror too!

I did watch the anime prior to reading the manga. The first season was amazing and the second season was decent (due to the studio change), and I figured that I'd read the whole story from start to finish. Even if someone were to want to start the anime now, I would suggest this volume since it elaborates on a lot of backstory. Even without that context, Terraformars is a great read.

I really like the Vol 1 of it , and for sure will check Vol 2. This is my first manga reading

Not what I was expecting, but in a a good way. Doesn't pull punches, both figuratively and literally. If you like brutal violence where no one is safe, this is certainly a book for you. Oddly enough my biggest annoyance with this book is how it seems to flop between sound scientific ideas and complete scientific nonsense. Its an interesting hodgepodge mostly put together to keep its thin premises afloat. But it also doesn't pretend to be smarter then it is.

Got this for my brother for his birthday! He loves it and it buying the other books after this one.

I've actually read this manga before and since I liked so much I decided to buy it. So now I'm reading it over again and it's still as good as the first time I'm read it. I personally recommend you buy it, unless you cry easily because you really get the feels when reading this manga.

So happy when it came! Book is larger than regular mangas but that just makes it easier to see all tha detail :) such a good read, second book is coming tomorrow! (:
