It allows you to cook your meal perfectly every time. I got my first one of these a couple of years back, and it's been brilliant, so I'm buying a second to keep outside with the BBQ. It's totally accurate and very fast. It's also simple to use and has a very clear screen.

this is an absolute game-changer for any serious cook. The speed and accuracy of the temperature readings are simply incredible. I can confidently cook steaks to perfection, or ensure that my poultry is cooked through without overdoing it, and as I recently bought an air fryer, you have to change all your usual cooking times and this helps enormously The large, backlit display is easy to read, even in a dimly lit kitchen. The foldable design is compact and convenient for storage. Plus, the splash-resistant feature adds durability and peace of mind.

I've never been comfortable with cooking meals like chicken and turkey so a thermometer was ideal for me to ensure the meat if cooked. I started with one of the probes with the display at the end. These were tiny and hard to read. When searching for a replacement I saw these and liked the idea of a much larger display and a foldaway probe. It was 3 x times the price of my previous thermometer which still works but I ordered one and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed. It's so much easier to use and registers the temperature so quickly I can see which parts of a turkey aren't thawed or up to temperature as I push the probe in. I tested it's accuracy using a glass of water with ice in it. As you can see from the photo it registers 0.4°C which is close enough for me. The thermometer uses a CR2032 coin battery accessed from the back using a coin to open the cover. 5/5, I use this for checking hot oil temperature and inserting into my steaks. It's fast to read battery life is great, battery is the same watch batteries to change it, quality is great, sturdy but light. Turns on when u open the metal prod then instantly turn off when u close it. Magnet strength is good, not too strong. Can use this instantly out of the box. You don't need a wireless thermometer unless your using huge big cuts of meat within the oven or BBQ or smoker. This can't be used inside the oven. I used this for BBQ, pan, for steaks , works wonders for me
