Does exactly what I need it to do.
Perfect size for my 3" to 4" nursery pots. I feel it would work for a bigger pot as well. Good price for the length and quality of the wick. The look is really of no interest in what I do with it...its a good light weight. The white color doesn't bother me...it sometimes turns green in the water reservoir anyway. This is the second time I've purchased this and I'm very satisfied with it's wicking action. I recommended to a friend of mine and she's satisfied with it as well.

Excellent wicking performance!
These are great for my seedling starts! I was a little concern initially if they would wick enough water since they are only 1/6". Well, these wicks perform so well, that if they did any better, I would worry about the soil getting too wet. I will start making self-watering pots for my indoor plants with these also. If you look closely in the photo, you can see water droplets inside the transparent cup as evident of water being pulled up. I've had this setup for about 2 weeks now and have only watered from below through the wicks. I feel with the amount of water supplied to the plants via the wick is just right.

Works best esp for my velvet alocasia
I got the ORIMERC 60 ft Self Watering Wick Cord to use while on vacation, and it turned out to be effective. I noticed it works especially well for my velvet Alocasi. Their leaves have grown thicker and healthier since I started using it. The wick keeps the soil at a consistent moisture level, which really helps in maintaining plant health. However, not all plants want to be kept moist all the time, so it’s best to know your plant’s watering needs before setting it up. Overall, this cord is easy to cut, adjust, and use for multiple pots. Definitely a handy DIY self-watering solution for plant lovers.

Amazing! Highly recommended
I stumbled upon these wicks when repotting a plant from a friend and thought it was a worm! An internet search clarified the use of this wick and led me to promptly buy these. They are simple to integrate into the planter and eliminate the worry of under/over watering.

Great basic string. The size and thickness is perfect for the job and the price is okay.
