Hey, I guess I can't whine too much for $19. I was looking for something that would serve as a daytime running light as well as a nighttime safety tool. This light does fine at night. You get about 250 feet of good visibility in the red blinking mode and that's enough. But in full sunlight it simply doesn't have the output to draw much attention beyond about 50 - 100 feet.This thing has 14 lighting modes but there are maybe 2 or 3 I'd actually use. The red flashing mode is the best for catching the eye with brightness, motion, and color. Some of the modes may be fun for kids in the driveway but not for safety on roads with traffic.As for design, the controls are really simple. A single button turns on the unit and cycles through the 14 light patterns. Also, there is a memory function. When you turn it on, it starts up in whatever mode it was in when you last turned it off. That's perfect for me. I don't want to cycle through 14 options every time I turn it on. I just want the red flashing mode. Other than that there is a micro USB connector protected by a rubber cover for protection from moisture. This is a bit larger than most other rear led lights. The extra length helps visibility.The mount is quick and easy to attach to a seat post and stays put. The light clips onto the mount securely. And a really nice feature that was one of the reasons I chose this light is the ability to rotate the light into a vertical or horizontal orientation. Just rotate the light and it will click into position every 90 degrees. Another reason I chose this light is the clip that attaches the light to the mount. I use a seat bag so a seat post mounting position is not an option. I'll use the light clipped to the rear of my seat bag 95% of the time with the mount clipped somewhere on the bike out of the way.Lastly, the battery is quoted as 300 mah in one place and 750 mah in another place in the product listing. At any rate, they quote a run time of 6 - 10 hours depending on the mode being used. My average ride is about 1.5 hours and I'm only on asphalt for about 30 minutes of that time so it should be fine for me. And the IPX6 water resistance seems like it should be fine for the occasional rain. I don't generally ride in heavy rain.All in all this is a pretty nice little light for the price. I'm not sure there is a better rear light for full sun that can clip onto a seat bag. If there is, I haven't found it yet.Hope this helps anyone thinking about this light.EDIT 11/23/2020: OK, I've done a bunch of rides with this light now. I'm generally going for 1:15 to 1:30. I just turn the light on when I head out and leave it on for the entire ride. An hour and a half of use doesn't seem to put much of a dent in the battery. It gets back to full charge in about 15 min once I get home and plug it in. So I'm thinking the quoted run times are probably pretty truthful.

Coolest bike light I've ever seen and looks so positively different than the typical red light common to bikes & scooters. It has 14 modes, all of them slick, most of them really slick, 8 of which I plan on using. Some reviews have stated that it's not bright enough for daytime use, but I disagree. The motion patterns are so creative, they're sure to attract attention, even during daytime use. This light features sturdy construction too, which surprised me based on its incredibly low price. I received it earlier today and will report back on life between charges and charge time in the near future. As long as I can get 90 min. per charge, I'll be happy. I would have been fine paying $40 for this light, but at under $20, it's a steal.Battery Life: Very good! It depends on the light pattern you use, but I find the battery lasting 8-12 hrs. among the 8 patterns I like cycling through. Get it? Cycling through?!

this light is very bright for the size and easy to turn on while riding, it stays in whatever mode you last used which was a great feature. the only issue i had was i hoped it would have more of a warning light blink and movement, yet most of the light settings move slow or would appear from a distance to be just a light on the someones lawn, which takes away the point of the light. i do recommend it though.

I was sorry to read that some people received the wrong product and even more sorry to see that this item is no longer available. We received the correct item in Jan. 2021 and LOVE it. I wanted to order it again when my son used his saved money to purchase a scooter like his sister's and wanted the same light. It works wonderfully well and has an impressive range of lighting options. She's easy to see when she's riding her scooter at dusk or night and she often likes to switch between the rainbow and prink and purple colors or the police-like red and blue colors that flash as she chases down her brother on his skateboard. It's been a lot of fun. I hope this light comes back in stock because we really want a second one. Also, this thing holds a charge. She's had it for about a month and hasn't needed to recharge it yet. It fits easily around the stem of her scooter and we use it vertically but it can also be used horizontally. The colors flash and swirl or stay steady depending on the mode and you can use this as a headlight or taillight if you want something more traditional or practical.
