Right amount of light...
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to add some light to the front of our house & wanted solar powered ones so there would be light in the front, even during power outages. There are TWO light color options (warm white, which is a more yellowish light & cold white, which is a very bright, white light). I have no idea how, but I ordered the warm white lights. I wanted the cold white ones, but nonetheless have been happy with the WARM WHITE ones.I put them on our front bushes & they look nice. We are going to swap our front bushes out at some point, so when we do, I will already have the lights.I find that the light is plenty of brightness, without it being too much light (when the light shines into the windows through the blinds). The lights are EASY to use.You gently, but firmly push the light heads onto the plastic spikes, press them into the ground, press the ON button, & choose the light level (I had to do that in the dark because I could not get them to turn on when it was daylight & I did not think of going into a dark room to test them), & let them do their thing. The ON/light button is on the underside of the head, as indicated in the directions. If you press the light button 1x it equals level 1, 2x equals level 2, 3x equals level 3, & 4x turns the light off. The brighter the light, the less time the lights will shine at night. I use them on level 2 for now, because it is snowy here & I find that to be the right amount of light. The lights seem to last approximately 6 hours or so, & I think they will last longer when spring arrives, because my other solar lights run WAY longer during the warmer months, than the cold ones. These lights are QUICK to set up & EASY to use.I want to order them in cold white (like I intended to do the first time) because we have a large yard & could use more light around our property.I WOULD purchase them again.

Great lites overall with the right color temperature
Well Solar lites, especially decorative and spots have come a long way. These have three settings, low, medium and high. I keep mine on high and they do a great job. Not sure I would want or need them brighter. I've only had them a week but I am sold and will probably buy four or six more for the backyard as soon as the wired ones back there start to go haywire. They stay lit at a great intensity for several hours before fading. The only thing that might be really cool would be for a couple of dollars more each light had a narrow, medium and wide beam option on it so you could focus in but that really isn't a deal breaker. The lights in the picture are one each on each of the three plants in the foreground. The lites in the background against the house are not these. Lastly, which was a deal breaker for me is they had to have a 2700 to 3000 Kelvin temperature because I wanted the warm white and not the steel blue light that LEDs are famous for.

Recommend, but manage your expectations
TLDR: 4 stars overall because the batteries can’t be changed, which is annoying, but 5 stars for the warm white color and brightness when fully charged after a sunny day. Our lights came on last night at 6pm and were still on at 6am this morning (low setting, bright sunny day for a full charge, solar panels at southeast facing orientation). That said, on a cloudy day after a snowstorm, most of the lights stayed on at full brightness for about 4 hours before going out.I initially purchased 4 of the warm white Jior landscaping solar lights in November and I bought 20 more in warm white in January. I like they have 32 LEDs for maximum brightness, more than double some of the other lights available. The warm white color is very pleasant to the eyes, and makes our landscaping look beautiful at night.I recommend them, with the understanding that you cannot ever change the battery (it’s built in). So if they fail, they must be totally replaced: expensive! For best performance you must make sure you orient the the lights solar panels to the south / southeast / southwest otherwise you might be disappointed.Know going in that on cloudy or rainy days this product is not going to charge the way it should in order to work that night. Lighting an area that requires the solar panels to be installed facing north or in a shadow will result in poor performance. The sun is required to charge the battery. Overcast days even south facing, you might get 2 hours of lights or less that night, on the low setting. Because of this, I would not recommend this to be used as your only security lights unless you live somewhere it is sunny all the time.Tips for success based upon my experiences using this product.Make sure you orient the solar panels on the lights to the south/ southeast/southwest in order to get the correct amount of sunlight to recharge the batteries every day. Placement is important- don’t put them in the shade.Placement is important for the beam spread to highlight everything. Putting the lights too close to an object will result in a bright pinpoint, moving the lights farther away will have a great effect and increase brightness over a larger area.I experimented with up lighting some bare cherry trees (it’s winter now) and the effect is very nice when you place the lights about 2 feet from the trunk. As with all batteries, very cold weather can affect the performance. The lighting performance once below about 15 degrees Fahrenheit is lessened.* You will need to be aware of the seasonal transit of the sun over your location and study how the shadows cast by objects affectthe placement of the lights for greatest success. At different times of the year, you might have to move or re-orient the lights to get an optimal charge. Be sure you study the way the sun comes across the area that you want lit.Overall I recommend this product. I am buying another 12 to light up some farther out areas of our yard.

Useful life
I bought 4 in March 2024 and 4 more in April 2024. It's February 2025 and 3 of them no longer work. I don't know when they stopped working. I live in the Phoenix Arizona area and we had many days last summer when the outdoor temperature exceeded 110 degrees. Uncertain if that is a factor. If it weren't for the short life on 3 of 8 units, the rating would be 5.Shortly after I posted these comments a Jior customer service representative reached out to me and offered to replace the units that no longer functioned. They arrived today and I'm looking forward to charging them up and putting them into service. Customer service gets 5 stars in my book. I plan to mark these and monitor the life of the original spotlights and the replacements.
