Skar Audio TWS-01 Neodymium Silk Dome Tweeters, Pair

This is one of the best tweeters for enhancing high-frequency notes. If your car doesn't have a 6-speaker system, this is a great addition to bring out the much-needed highs. It also significantly improves vocal clarity, which often feels muffled in a standard 4-speaker setup. Highly recommended!!

These sound great and have been working for a year now with no issues. I like em. Worth the money for sure.

SUPER LOUD. I have them playing off of just a pioneer single din head unit and they hurt my ears turned all the way up. I like that they already come with bass blockers so all you have to do is wire it up and there good to go. Makes my car sound 10000x better then stock. I’m buying another pair for one of my other cars, definitely recommend.

Sound of the tweeter is nice, not harsh sounding. The only disadvantage is power handling a bit low,

Montados donde iría la bocina original al centro del tablero en un Ford 1972. Hasta la fecha han funcionado de maravilla con una radio alpine MDA-7755 de 40Wx4. Incluyen un par de crossovers ya fabricados para únicamente colocar en el vehículo y conectar. Ayuda mucho si no sabes cómo armarlos. Los cables confunden ligeramente, el lado negativo tiene muy delgada la línea negra que se llega a pegar un poco con el cable positivo. Muy buenos por el precio en que los conseguí.

The wiring for our TWS-01 | 1-Inch 80 Watt Silk Dome Tweeters is as follows: Solid Red Wire to Solid Red Wire on Capacitor = Positive Terminal Black Wire to Black/Red Wire on Capacitor = Negative Terminal Original review: So I have them in and they sound pretty good. They are not as tinny sounding as the last pair (different brand). I would give 5 stars, but the issue is the wires coming out of the tweeter are different colors than the ones coming out of the in line capacitor/crossover filtering (solid red and solid black from the tweeter and solid red, red w/black stripe going into and out of the filter). The wires going into the filter aren’t labeled with +/- either and you can’t visually see what is being filtered because of heat shrink. Also the wires coming out of the tweeter aren’t marked +/-, so it’s a guessing game. I wired them up by ear and they sound pretty good (but can’t be sure of the phasing without more testing). I had this issue with an old pair of tweeters and had to do the same thing and honestly it was a pain but I got it to work in the end. I’m going to call Skar tomorrow to get a definitive answer and will update accordingly. I mean for the price, they are pretty solid and are taking the power but I need to ensure the phasing for longer term sound quality/reliability.
