I tried the suction cups and pivot tools, and it worked

These definitely worked—the glass came off instantly!—but the handle snapped off of each of them, the first time I used them. If you just need them for a one-off, they should work fine (especially for the price); but if you plan to use them again, I’d suggest going with something a little sturdier.

Tiny and the suction wouldn't stay locked on one of them. The pry tools are very flimsy as well.

Suction cup handles are almost as fragile as the display. I broke on of the handles removing the cup (yes I released the suction first) from a display. I do not recommend this kit.

I use these to remove the glass screen on an old iMac computer. Was a piece of cake with this suction cup.

I was surprised how well it worked. If you sell, give away, or recycle your IMAC, don't forget to check your CD drive like I forgot to!

Just a FYI. I ordered this item and it was delivered today. I used it as directed, and the plastic handle snapped right off.

Kit works great especially for a DIYer. I ordered this with replacement LED for my TV and this kit provided me with all the tools that I needed

This 9-piece screen repair tool set has been fantastic! I've used it to open up an older iMac for an SSD installation, as well as a MacBook and iPad for battery replacements, although I did end up slicing the display ribbon cable while opening the iPad (my mistake). The suction tool provided the perfect grip for handling the glass without leaving any scratches, and the other tools were sturdy and well-designed for delicate electronics work. Highly recommend this kit for anyone tackling Apple repairs—it's reliable, effective, and a great value!

Good but not very high quality

for something that is supposed to pry things, it doesn't do a very good job...

Good idea, much stronger than they look! I was able to use them to remove the screen of a 50-inch TV that I was replacing, and I also use them to lift the glass of my living room table when I need to clean it properly.
