Absolutely awesome....exceeded expectations
I've been wanting a set of these for a really long time, and I'm really excited to have one. The steel is a heavy gauge, and they fit together perfectly. In fact, I was able to even fit my MSR Alpine pan, 2 MSR Alpine bowls, and 2 MSR Alpine plates into the set in order to make a complete self contained cook set. I've cooked a couple of meals on my Coleman 2 burner and they have performed well. I've also used the small pot on my MSR pocket rocket with now issues (for back country needs the small pot and the MSR pocket rocket make a great lightweight but durable combination. I have not used them yet on open fire, but am confident that they will hold up well. My only regret is that I waited so long to finally purchase this pot set.

Great packable set. Thin, lightweight.
Used this set for a week backpacking with a family of 4 in the Olympic National Park. It nest nicely in the boyfriend in one of my 65l pack. Great for camp soups and stews. Material is very thin so it's light weight and water boils fast. We would use a jet lighter to boil the water in the biggest pot (it's a balancing act) and pour in several soup mixes and stir and serve. If you try to cook with a pot, or lid like a skillet, direct on the jetboil instead of dumping food in the boiling water, the center that is getting the direct flame will burn the food. We botch some macaroni so use caution. Useing the pots on a true camping stove or campfire will probably have better results but I wasn't packing one of those to go backpacking.

Great Pots for Fieldwork
I used these pots along with the MSR EXG liquid fuel stove system in Norway. Even 150km north of the Arctic Circle, this combination allowed me to easily boil water and cook my food. These pots are durable, relatively lightweight, don't make a lot of noise in a pack, and can hold the stove system and all corresponding pieces to keep any lose gear from being banged around in a pack.

Very good
The pot is thin and not sturdy, but it boils quickly, which is good. It is good for induction, gas, and fire, and it is multipurpose. If you have this one, you can leave other pots at home. It is perfect for camping. It comes in three sizes, not too big or too small, just right for use.

Great Long Term Investment
I purchased two of these sets to use with a Boy Scout Troop. I have had several MSR pots for more than twenty years, but when I purchased them in the early nineties, I thought that they looked "thin". They stood the test of time and look just as good now as they did then. The new sets appear to be very well made, and I am looking forward to years of use with them as well.

Good quality camping gear.
Everything worked as it should but, I like the older version of the cookware. The older version has built in brackets for the handle on the lids and pots. While you can still use the lids as pans. They now have that raised section in the cooking surface I assume for more rigidity instead of using a thicker steel. So, it's an uneven cooking surface which is harder to clean. I myself would gladly pay more money for thicker steel material.

There are not enough good things to say about this pot set
There are not enough good things to say about this pot set. They nest inside of each other perfectly. I have taken them camping several times and cooked right over the fire. I have had no problem with anything sticking to them and they clean up so nicely. If you are into ultra light backpacking, I would not recommend these. They are a little on the weighty side, but knowing how well they work, I would sacrifice just to carry these guys. I love my pots and would definitely recommend getting some for your next camping trip!!

We use in RV for .limited space. My first use was cooking rice. Didn't burn. Turned out great. Easy to clean.
