Toenail Clippers for Seniors Thick Toenails - 4-Piece Heavy Duty Nail Clipper Set with Podiatrist Grade Tools, Wide Jaw and Rotating Head Clippers for Elderly Adults

We’ve been through a million nail kits in our household and this one is awesome! We got it specifically for the black handled tool and it cut right through thick toenails. I haven’t used the tool that looks likes regular clippers yet, but they feel solid as well. Turns out the clippers with the handle that rotates are a pretty handy item that I would buy separately if I had to now that I know how useful they are, not only for getting my toenails at the weird angle i have to sit in to reach them but, also for cutting my son‘s nails with a lot less having to move around to get to and stay at the right angle. Everything feels pretty sharp right now, but safe to use. I even like that it came with a little guide to remind you how to cut your nails and to keep your instruments clean, especially if you share them. I generally dislike metal files myself so I probably won’t use that much. I would’ve liked to see a better instrument for cleaning out the nails instead of the file. Maybe another tool that rotated like the clippers but for cleaning under the nail. Even so, I’ll likely be buying my husband his own set for Christmas.

I am having issues trying to clip my toenails. I had my spine fused so I am not able to bend or twist. I can barely reach my toes, much less trim the nails. I also have little use of my left hand, so I need a clippers to be easy to handle. This set gives me 3 different clippers to choose from, plus a little bag to keep them stored in and a nail file to smooth the rough edges. My favorite is the scissors style clippers. I feel like they give me good control while allowing me to get into a good position to do the trimming. The open jawed clippers cut well, but it was difficult for me to tell how close I was to the quick before I began to trim. The Rotating Head Clippers were interesting to me. At first, I didn't even notice that the head rotated. Then I had to experiment a little bit before I felt i could safely use them. I like how this set gives me options and I can keep working with them to find what works best for me.

Being a senior who lives alone - it was difficult cutting my toenails. I received this package and used it as soon as I opened it. Easy to use.

These senior clippers are great, easy to manage and use, and cut gently on my toes. I'm still getting used to them. I have been using the other clippers for years and finally got some that are great and easy to use.,

I’m very grateful for this product. I’m only in my 30’s but diagnosed w/ peripheral neuropathy. Almost worse than arthritis where I’ve lost feeling & functionality in half of both hands. Grooming w/ normal tools became impossible. I found this kit & decided to give it a try- SO glad I did! The quality is great. There are plenty of tools to choose from & they are about as easy to use as it’s going to get given the circumstances. I am able to safely & comfortably trim & maintain my nails on my own without it being a 3 hour battle of frustration! The storage bag was a nice little touch, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. I would highly recommend for not just the elderly, but anyone who has arthritis, fibro, or any other muscular/nerve disability, etc. I’m so thankful to have found this!

This is supposed to be a seniors product, I'm only giving this set three stars because although they do a great job (you could cut wire with them) I think they would be too sharp for many people especially seniors that take blood thinners. The design makes it easy to catch the skin under the finger/toe nails. My mother takes a blood thinner and cut herself when doing her fingernails and needless to say it took a while to stop the bleeding. She was ultra careful too but the clipper is just too sharp.

Bought for my elderly parents. Mom does Dads thick nails and she said they work good.

But the toemail clipper and the angle clipper are too hard to use for elder people. Set looks good and strong though.
