This casserole dish is extremely cute. I use this when I want to prepare some food for my mother. I place it in this dish so she can reheat in the oven, or the microwave without a problem. The dish is small enough to fit in a toaster oven, traditional oven or Microwave. The lid even doubles as a plate. This is a great idea. The item is clear glass so it is easy to clean, and easy to see when it is not clean. It goes from Oven to countertop without issue. You can store it easily, it fits in the storage space under my stove without issue. I just turn the lid upside down for it to take up less space in the area. The glass is durable. Not as thick as Pyrex, but it gets the job done. I have no fear that it will shatter in the oven. It is very well made. I don't stack it, but with the lid turned upside down you can stack other things on top of it without the fear of anything falling. The size I ordered is good for a side dish big enough for two or a complete meal for a single person. I will definitely order in different sizes if needed. My family was impressed when I brought the dish to my mom's house. :)

Very satisfied with the quality and smaller sizes. Works well for smaller portions and side dishes. The lids fit nicely and the set stores well nested together. Perfect for empty nesters.

Good-I use them in the microwave and air fryer for baking. It's sturdy. The size is perfect for me. Satisfied with the purchase.

There are two basic kinds of glass cookware, borosilicate and soda lime. Soda lime glass does not have the thermal resistance of borosilicate glass and can shatter if different parts of the cookware are exposed to very different temperatures. For example, taking soda lime cookware from the refrigerator and putting it in a hot oven could cause it to shatter. Original Pyrex cookware was borosilicate. A lot of recently manufactured glass cookware is tempered soda lime glass as it is less expensive. Tempering helps, but you still need to use some care to avoid shattering. This cookware is tempered glass. It is a nice size for use in the microwave, the top fits well, and it is chemically safe compared to plastic microwave steamers. Used correctly it should last 'forever' and it looks nice enough to serve directly from it.

This a high quality bowl like we used to have in the 50's when I was growing up. I wanted a bowl to use in a toaster oven to heat things up. This fit the bill. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. Heavy and worth the money. It also has a lid for using in a variety of meals.

This dish is great for baking and using in the microwave. I find it particularly convenient that the lid and the body are made of glass so I can see through it.

So I'm 60 something years old. I was looking for a bigger Corelle dish. I bought this one and I can say this out performs any other dish I would have hoped to purchased. Here's a picture of how I utilize the lid after I cooked my food as a plate. It's quite amazing and great engineering

They are relatively pricey. But they are very practical to use as they are not so heavy, all oven safe, comes in a stack of sizes and , best if all, each cokes with an equally oven safe glass lid that also serves very well as a serving dish on its own ! These microwave and all oven safe glass covers for the glass casseroles are superb to heat ip or cook dishes that may otherwise splatter inside the ovens. I wish the prices can be made more affordable, though.
