I can’t describe how fab and effective this little machine is! It has exceeded my expectations and I’m running out of places to use it!! Pros: effective, satisfying process, value for money, compact, easy to operate, long cable and hose, big tank capacity, nifty features to keep it compact for smart storage, amazing free carpet cleaning solution tester provided, perfect for animal lovers, easy to clean, fast drying time (2 hours max), works well on carpets and furniture, breathing new life into old carpets and furniture which saves money from no longer needing to buy new or replace, quick to clean the areas that need attention, attachment heads are well made, top quality, saves space compared with a stand up carpet cleaner, clearly able to see all the dirt that’s been picked up from the colour of the water. Cons: these are MINOR in comparison to the pros. Very noisy - my cats are really scared of it and I can’t use it past 10pm (I’m a night owl) because my neighbours wouldn’t be happy with the racket. I can’t use it as a spot cleaner because it’s too good at cleaning so the rest of the room looks dirty meaning that a 5 minute job turns into over an hour’s job to clean the whole room. As it’s a spot cleaner it takes longer if you want all the room doing as you have to move the tank about more and it’s easier to do it cross legged instead of bending over. It’s made me feel like my house was filthy and as a borderline OCD cleaner that really hurts BUT now I’ve used it the house has never felt so clean. The instructions are just pictures which is more difficult in my opinion to understand how to use it. It doesn’t tell you how much solution to add because it says use the measurement cup. There was no measurement cup attached to the sample bottle because it’s only a small bottle so I had to google for ages to find out the correct amount. It didn’t even specify in the description page so that was fairly disappointing. If anyone is struggling to find the measurements out, a full tank consists of 60ml of solution and the rest is warm/hot tap water that goes up to the fill line which is printed clearly on the tank. If you’re like me and have to be very careful with money I can assure you that this was the best purchase I have ever made and the money it’s saving me is fantastic. No professional carpet cleaners bills, no new furniture and no new carpets. And even though I got a good deal by getting it on Prime day, it’s well worth the money with or without the discount so don’t hesitate and add it to your basket!! Bissell are fantastic. I now own a Bissell carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner and a carpet sweeper. All 3 are the most important appliances in my house and make daily appearances which are more essential than anything else I own. Am👏az👏ing! 💛

I’m so impressed with this machine! I’ve seen it on instagram, Tik Tok advertised and always wanted to get it. I have a vax carpet cleaner but found it was too flimsy and breaks easily and didn’t clean well. I used this for the first time on old and new stains and I’m blown away. It even lifted foundation and make up in the carpet which had been there months! I decided to purchase as it was on an offer and I’m so pleased I did! I have a new puppy and love the attachment which has a separate compartment too. With a toddler and puppy this is an absolute life saver and so easy to use. It is very different to an upright vax but it is so much less bulky and I’ll use more with ease. It definitely is more powerful. It is noisy but I’m not fussed. Most vacuums are acoustically sounded whereas this isn’t and with the power I wouldn’t expect it to be. I’d rather noisy than loss of suction. Overall it’s a brilliant buy and I’m extremely happy.

The first SpotClean Pet Pro I ordered was faulty and had to be sent straight back. I thought the problem was that the trigger didn't work properly as it hardly moved and no spray came out. On reflection, I think it had a faulty pump as the trigger on the replacement sent by Amazon (very promptly) also doesn't squeeze very far but, by contrast, sprays well. Just hours after the carpet cleaner arrived, one of my dogs was sick in the middle of the night after a fun day of eating stones, twigs and other savoury treats in the garden. I have owned a Bissell Big Green for about five years and find it excellent for cleaning a whole carpet but far too big and cumbersome to haul out just for spot cleaning, especially in the middle of the night. It was a relief to have the SpotClean to hand as it is lightweight and quick and easy to use. The pet mess cleaning tool is a real bonus as it saves having to clean up the mess by hand before shampooing and prevents the inside of the hose and dirty water tank from becoming too soiled. It took me a little while to get used to gauging exactly where to hold the cleaning head for the spray to hit the right spot and the best angles for holding the head for using the brush and and vacuum. The cleaner works best if it is held fairly lightly and used slowly. On the whole, it did a pretty good job. There is a small, faint stain remaining on the carpet which will probably come out next time it is cleaned. While I was pleased with the ease of use and general performance, there are a few points worth mentioning which could do with improvement. First, the cleaner is quite noisy and could wake others in the property, and probably neighbours too, if used at nighttime. Second, for some bizarre and unfathomable reason, Bissell have stopped putting the helpful two filling lines for water and cleaning solution on the clean tank. There is now only one line for water and and instruction to add 2 fluid ounces (approx 60ml) of cleaning solution but no measuring cup is provided. I used my digital kitchen scales and a cup from another appliance to measure the correct amount of solution but if you haven't got either to hand it would be sheer guesswork. Third, it looks as if the transparent cover on the pet mess tool can probably be removed for cleaning after use but is so fiddly to remove that I gave up. My manual dexterity and eyesight are not what they used to be. Finally, the design of the machine is small and neat. It comes with the normal cleaning head and the pet mess tool. One can be attached to the end of the hose and left in place but there is nowhere on board to store the spare cleaning tool. In my house it stands the risk of being found and chewed up by one of my dogs, the fate of so many other loose cleaning tools. For these reasons I have knocked one * off the score. Come on, Bissell, just a few small improvements would make the SpotClean Pet Pro an excellent cleaner!

I bought this great little machine to replace an upright carpet cleaner with a hose attachment and I am very pleased that I did as it is well worth the money. Having used it for a few months I can make the following points • Very powerful and cleans better than the carpet cleaner it replaced. • Small and compact taking up much less storage space than an upright, I like the wrap around hose and cable feature. • Easy filling and emptying of carpet cleaner and dirty water tank. • Cleans up well after my dog has an accident. • Good for cleaning dog hairs from the carpet to make it look like new. • You could clean a whole carpet which will take longer than an upright but does a better job. • Good wet vacuum cleaner useful for spillages in the bath room and kitchen. • Cleans furniture and carpets well but I also use it on the kitchen floor instead of using a mop • Cleans the car seats and the rubber flooring in my van better than a pressure washer using very little water and hence quicker to dry out. An excellent bit of kit and I would highly recommend.

Whilst I admit, I'd love one of the industrial machines that you can stand up with and just power through large areas, they are rather expensive. This little spot cleaner is the next best thing for the price point and the convenience of it being small. This thing is small but POWERFUL! I've had it about a year now and I use it frequently, it's kept its power, suctions brilliantly compared to my rubbish upright that doesn't even touch the carpet due to the roller, so is shocking at picking up anything. This is designed for small areas, to pick up spills etc, however I do entire carpets, rugs and stairs 😅 it's extremely hard work, so don't expect the ease of an upright cleaner, you scrub loads but the results are amazing, as you can see. I've put it through its paces 😂 honestly best buy so far. I use cheap carpet cleaner from B&Q and HB, and sometimes add bleach or bicarb to the mix for lighter carpet, comes up immaculate! Even used fairy liquid and floor cleaner in there. If you want fab results like this just remember it's not easy, it'll require you being on your hands and knees scrubbing for hours, if that's not for you then hire a special machine, but small touch ups or people who are like me and happily spend hours cleaning, don't mind putting in lots of elbow grease, then this is for you 👍

Firstly, this is a great extractor. Portable, light, powerful and performs well on stains or general cleaning. It’s also loud, not unbearably, but nonetheless loud. However, there is no chance I will change it. Fits in the cupboard under stairs just great, very easy to clean, changing the water couldn’t be easier. Cons are, dirty water vessel could be slightly bigger, suction hose needs to be a bit longer, or offer an extension piece (which I would buy), because it’s a bit short and means you’re always close to the machine, which is noisy. I had the rug doctor spot cleaner before this, and the bissel is WAY BETTER. Screwfix also do a carpet cleaner solution of their own, which is half the price of oem brands, and works great in the bissel. So far cleaned rugs, door area of carpets, and two cars front, back, boot and mats and this thing gets in everywhere and does a great job. Definitely value for money.

This is a great compact machine, very easy to use and cleans deeply. The carpet dried quickly. Very happy with the purchase. Used it on some old dried in stains and it worked beautifully.

I have an upright bissell which is brilliant so this was an obvious choice for a spot cleaner, it's compact and easy to use and clean after use, it isn't as powerful in terms of suction as expected around 30% of the fluid remains in the carpet after comparing the water tank and receiving tank after use. The pet nozzle with the separate tank is the reason I got this model, specifically for the claim "This unique tool keeps pet and other liquid messes inside the tool and out of your machine." absolute rubbish the liquid in this tank is exactly the same as the fluid going into the main tank it does not separate liquids at all, it is just a container that acts as a cyclone so it mixes liquids and let's them through this just a cheap gimmick, after using this nozzle once I won't be using it again for the reason above but also the cleaning fluid is projected from the front of the tool in a trident (3 individual jets) rather than a spray and the 2 jets on the edge extend outside the width of the nozzle, meaning you cannot cover the area requiring cleaning generally instead you get a very wet central point of a very small area and as you move this around the edge jets cover an area that didn't need cleaning and then to suck this you put a dirty nozzle on a clean area and then have to wash this etc etc. The unit isn't the easiest to store it is about the same footprint as the upright unit, the power able has a cable clip on the plug but it doesn't matter which way you wind the cable around the lugs the plugs ends up on a curve so the clip knocks off just with tapping, there is no attachment on the unit to store the second tool which is annoying as you know it will be put safe then not found when needed. The reason for the low rating is not for the machine it is for the model, the extra price for the pet pro version is not worth it the tool that costs the extra is not worth the added price as it does not function as claimed, given the option I would buy the normal version instead.
