Optase Cleanse & Protect does not ‘seal’ the skin and so should not affect the absorption of skin care products. We recommend to use before applying makeup and moisturiser (Wait 1 minute after spraying before applying any moisturisers or makeup.)

Q: Can you use Optase Cleanse & Protect while using steroidal cream, spray, or ointment?

It is recommended to use Optase Cleanse & Protect first, then leave a 30-minute gap before applying the steroid cream.

Q: Can you use Optase Cleanse & Protect with eye cream?

We recommend spraying Optase Cleanse & Protect first as per the instructions, wait 1 minute, and wipe off with a sterile cotton pad. Then wait a further 10 minutes to use any cream around the eye area.
