I must admit, when I first saw it, I thought who would need this.. until I tried to get my lid open one day and took my mallet to smack it loose.. and it cracked and water started leaking everywhere.. then I realized .. I bought this over year a go and use it every week, leave it on my clorinator lid.. and life has been so much easier.. one of those tool that they should include with the clorinator.. but don't.. very happy with it..

I wish I had purchased this wrench years ago it makes it so easy to remove the top of my chlorinator. It is an excellent value very well made of a sturdy plastic. It should last for a very long time I have been using mine for years and it’s as good as new.

Opening the Hayward Chlorinator by hand had become almost impossible sometimes. This tool makes it a breeze. It works. It is plastic and not "heavy duty" but it also doesn't feel like it's going to break any time soon. And it works. Now it is easy to open the chlorinator, as it should be.

It is well made and constructed from a very strong composite material. Quality is there, just isn't fitting correctly as you can see from the pictures. This tool does not line up with the named in-line chlorinator. It's also too narrow and does not even go over the ring. In the same order, I ordered a new lid and ring and it doesn't fit that one or my older one, both the same model. So, unfortunately, I need to return it.

Didn't fit the filter as the description said it would.

Very handy little gadget. My husband and I both always struggled to get the chlorinator lid off but this tool makes it much easier. We haven't had any problems with it breaking or flexing yet. We keep it stored outside under our pool deck. If it breaks, I'm sure we'll buy another!
