KT Tape, Original Cotton, Elastic Kinesiology Athletic Tape, 20 Count, 10” Precut Strips

I’ve been using KT Tape Original Cotton Elastic Kinesiology Tape for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for my joint support. It’s strong but still comfortable — the cotton material feels breathable and doesn’t irritate my skin even when I wear it all day. I use it on my knees and shoulders, and it really helps reduce discomfort during workouts and everyday activities. It stays in place through sweat and movement, and I love that it’s easy to cut to the size I need. Overall, great quality tape that actually works — I’ll definitely keep it in my first-aid kit and buy it again!

I use in place of a brace on the knee and it works great. Very stretchy and has the strength to support and stabilize the knee. I like it comes in colors as well as neutral. It adheres well to the skin, so well that pulling it off can be quite painful and it can take some skin with it so leave it on til it starts peeling on its own unless you like pain.

KT tape is good stuff. I love Rock tape too, but KT wins for quality at a better price point every time. I have a problem with adhesives on tape. Using Kinesio tape always comes with a downside for me and a limit on how long I can use it for. Once removed from 90% of places on my body I've used it I will have scabs in the tape pattern that take a couple of weeks to heal. KT is the same as any other tape I've used. It has kept me walking many times when I might not otherwise have been able to do so and it has save my neck, back, and shoulders many times. Currently I'm using it to support and help my foot...fortunately the bottom of my foot doesn't seem to mind the adhesive - a miracle!

i have a evil knee pain and this helps. i bought the purple. it's a pretty color. comes in a nice little box which is easy to throw in your bag and a guide on how to apply. breathable material. in terms of use, it's very bipolar. i apply it the same way every time; clean, dried, typically sterilized skin. i even shave, incase that matters. some pieces peel off, some stick for days; it's something with the adhesive, to my knowledge. the cheaper crap makes me blister with one day of use. this does not, even with multiple days of wear. id like better adhesive on this; i know these aren't the strongest ones but i cant afford to pay 20$ every time i need to tape my knee, which is almost daily; and while this lasts, like i said, the adhesive is SO hit or miss between pieces. overall, it works. if it werent for the adhesive being weird, 5 stars. but i will be reordering this!

I suffer from a severe spinal injury that causes wrist pain, and this KT tape has been a lifesaver. It stays on—even through showers—and actually works. Durable, effective, and worth every penny.

Great product, stayed on throughout workouts and activity. Seemed to relieve some of the soreness while recovering from an injury.

I've been using this tape over the past couple years on my tennis elbows. I went through 4 boxes with varying results. A year ago I would have given it an average 3 star rating but now I've figured out how to make it work the best, I think it totally deserves 5 stars when used properly. First of all, when the tape is on, it is really effective. I feel a lot of support on my elbow as long as the tape is on. It did take me a while to figure out how to make it stay longer. If the tape has been produced a while ago or box has been opened for a while, then the glue may lose power. Obviously. My leftover box from last year's injury didn't work quite well this year. The tapes would start to peel off shortly after I put them on, even though I wiped my arm with rubbing alcohol. Also, even though I didn't use my first two boxes last year with rubbing alcohol, I felt that they were somehow "old" even when newly purchased. The glue just seemed thinner and not as shiny as the boxes I have right now. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell if you have an "old" box until you open it. For the best results, definitely clean with soap first, then wipe the area with rubbing alcohol before applying the tapes. (Last year I only used soap to clean my arm and the tape will stay for no more than 12 hours.) And absolutely avoid touching the glue with your fingers. As soon as the tape is on your skin, press on and rub it quickly to generate heat around the area so the heat will activate the glue ingredient to work better. My current box will stick for about 3 days, hardly affected by sweating. Even though some edges will peel very slightly, it doesn't progress further and will hold the support very firmly even after multiple showers. Normally I peel it off myself before the tape falls off because I want to avoid skin sensitivity from frequently and prolonged application and excessive usage of the surrounding muscles supporting the pain spot. Depending on where you use it, picking the uncut roll may be better so you can cut it to a longer length. I just find the pre-cut roll more convenient because of the way I use it, especially because they come with round corners. Whether you buy the pre-cut or continuous roll, you should always cut the corners so that all corners are round. It greatly prevents peeling. [Updated in July 2014] I'm returning the rating back to 3 stars because of too frequent occurrences of the failed glue and the skin irritation from the glue+rubbing alcohol. At this point I've completely switched to Kinesio Tex Gold tape. The Kinesio tape is thinner (fabric+glue), breathes better, water resistant, and can stay on skin for as long as 5 days. The KT tape is thicker, when stretched with the same degree as Kinesio tape, will peel in less than 20 minutes. However, I still want to stress that if you can keep it on, it is still extremely effective. The problem is that it's hard to keep it on. It also gives me a lot of skin irritation after more frequent re-applying within, say the same week. If I use Kinesio, I only need to put it on once and it lasts for days. If I use KT Tape, it will peel off and I need re-use rubbing alcohol and re-apply the tape the next time I exercise, subsequently causing a lot more skin irritation. KT Tape is only a little cheaper than Kinesio, with a lot more re-application and failure to stay, I actually run out a lot faster than Kinesio tape. At this point it ceased to become an effective option for me.

Not sure what is happening, but this tape I bought is in the same box as the one I bought from Dicks. It is NOT the same tape. The Amazon one was not sticky and was not the same thickness. Not good quality. Had a good convo with KT about this, they were very responsive and I am happy. Issue resolved and I look forward to using their products in the future. Thank you KT!! :-)

Good adhesion even after a bath

This tape is the best that I have tried. Holds for 3-4 days and is waterproof in the shower. Highly recommend.

Perfect for many use, foot shoulder ,knee all you need. Last 2 to 5 day depend of the placement. The glue of the tape is really tough but easy to remove. Great price, good quality.
