This is an outstanding book. I bought it for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and each of the main pop ups are enormous with so much detail and colour, and each page has another 3-5 pop ups which continue to tell the story. A stunning gift that will be kept for years to come.

Absolutely fantastic. If someone finds these 200 years from now they will be stunned. I plan to gift all of them over time to my grandaughter.

This is another of these books I have bought for my granddaughter, they are a work of art but this one seems a little dark in colour

This book has amazing intricate pop ups that are sure to intrigue and amuse all ages. There are mini pop ups hidden under flaps, so excellent value. not really suitable for toddlers as it is likely to get damaged, but for older children I would think this is a gift to treasure.

I read this to my 6-year-old daughter tonight. It was a psychologically twisted tale with nothing but abject tragedy at the end. I am stunned that this was published. Half an hour after lights out I heard my daughter crying in her bedroom. I talked to her about the story and tried to help her through what she had experienced in this miserable book. I hope she gets to sleep and doesn’t suffer nightmares. Do not buy this book is my only advice, no matter your age. Somebody at Simon and Schuster should be disciplined over the publication of this nasty book.
