Beer Can Chicken Roaster

Works well, easy to clean, good quality!!

This method is so great. I've used it for years, but just used the separate beer can holder. I found a recipe that was delicious as a rub, put onions and garlic in the gear and it was amazing. So easy to clean. (I recommend putting aluminum foil on the shelf below in case the chicken exudes a lot of greasy and juice.)

The unit for a beer can chicken roaster is really very, very good. Not at all disappointed. Being able to use various liquids with the unit is a huge plus! Having a pan to catch drippings was essential in the purchase and it works well. First bird was a 5+ pounder and the roaster performed just as described. Definitely a '5' for the basic unit. I gave it a '4' overall ONLY because of the vegetable spikes which did not work well at all even with small red and white potatoes. If you don't care about the spikes, this is the unit to get. You might want to consider adding veggies in the drip tray later in the roasting process as they will likely over cook if you place them in at the start even with indirect heat. The drippings are awesome.

Makes delicious, moist chicken! I use sherry instead if beer.. I love mine, gave as gift.

I really don't get this idea... Doesn't make for better chicken, just takes longer to cook, and no difference in taste.

Sturdiness is amazing, love that you can use whatever liquid inside, decent size chicken fits pretty well and snug over it. I love that it doesn’t leak, material lasts and doesn’t seem to dull. Kicks your smoking/bbq performance way up especially with the kabob addition to it. Bought for my dad for a Father’s Day gift and he loved it right away. Chicken came out amazing with it. HIGHLY recommend.

Very sturdy, worked well on my first use Chicken stayed upright the whole time Another review mentioned that the tray was a bit small, and I agree with that, would be nicer if a little bigger. Was sturdy to pull off the grill, so s as lol in all I recommend

Mmmmm - Beer Can Chicken! - But just not beer - any soft drink or juice - Have tried it with many different juices - The idea - is it keeps it most and adds a little taste! Just love it - and impressive!

It can’t handle a big bird. If you add potatoes and corn I’m not sure how sturdy or reliable it would be. I put it on top of a cookie sheet to catch any drippings. Otherwise nice product.
