Q: When using the copy function my documents print out with a grey background instead of white like the original document. why is this?

From the pull down menu select original or colour or black and white - photo or document. You’ll find it. Experiment until you get the setting right. I’m copying loads of very old docs and photos - frequently need to change the settings but results are good. It’s a brilliant scanner - just practise.

Q: Can you magnify the image or zoom in when using the software?

I am not sure whether you can zoom in on the software, but all pictures are saved to the computer, and all pictures can be zoomed in!! I have used this for a few months now and I am absolutely loving it!! I have saved anything from A3 to passport sized photos, and each time it manages to find the exact size of what you are trying to copy!! I wouldn't be without it now!!! Far superior to my scanner!

Q: Does this run using its bespoke software or can you use it with Foxit or Adobe ?

Thanks for your inquiry, the scanner needs to work with Camshop software which can be download from CD driver, it's also available on our website. Hope this can help.

Q: Is there an auto-rotation feature for scanning documents? Or it only scans in landscape?

You can choose auto-rotation on the software before you start to scan. This is really a must-have feature when I need to scan many documents.

Highly recommend product.

The product looks exactly like the pictures and is the most easy device to set up. The software installs seamlessly and using the product is much faster than the traditional scanner. The auto detect for the paper edges is extremely accurate so no need to keep adjusting the papers.Highly recommend product.

Resolution is terrible

Not a simple plug-and-play device. It boasts that it comes with a CD for installation; I haven't had a CD drive for over ten years. However, easily downloaded from their website.When using the software is very easy to use, and it is quick to achieve a scan. However, the resolution was terrible.Images scanned were not recognisable.The text was not readable.States is for magazines but was unable to achieve a reasonable result. The cropping function did not work as stated.Sent back the day I received it.Of final note, all of the warranty was in Chinese. The instructions were provided in multiple languages but lacked any depth or detail.
