I really like that this comes with so many different shapes and in so many colors. It is helpful that it comes with the four colors of strings for the little ones to lace the shapes on. I use the shapes for sorting by both the shape and by color. This allows the toddlers to interact with the product in more simple ways before starting to lace. It also allows them to work on building patterns. My only wish for this product would be to have equal numbers of each shape and in equal numbers of each color. The quality of the beads is great. I should have gotten more!

These beads are so much fun! I did have to purchase sturdier shoelaces because the ones that come with it are very thin and my 3 yr old grandson had a hard time threading them through the holes. It's funny, I didn't think of them as more than lacing beads but he got creative. He put them on the table and lined them line up by color and shape. Sturdy hard plastic. The bag they come in is perfect to tuck them away when he is done playing. I suggest supervision because they are small enough to be a choking hazard. Overall a great toy!

My son was using it for about 20 minutes when we got it and lost interest pretty quickly but he was having a good time and working his little finger muscles.

It's what the parents wanted their child to have for her birthday to enhance her fine motor skills and it went down a treat.

Make sure to check the age before buying these are little wooden beads made for older children. I will be saving them for my granddaughter’s birthday not for Christmas to little.

Beads are very small, choking hazard!
