Cost £175 and broke after 11 months
This is the second one of these I've bought. A fantastic toothbrush. I absolutely love it. The first one lasted 2 years. The second one has broken after 11 months. The plastic that lines the hole that you put the brush head in is loose. It's such a fantastic toothbrush but at £175 a pop they should last longer.

Worth the hefty price tag!
I was in two minds about buying this as it is very expensive for a toothbrush but i was persuaded by the reviews.. I am so pleased i did. I have used sonicare brushes for a number of years and always been happy with them - the only criticism I have had is that they don’t always last as long as they should. It remains to be seen whether this one is more durable but in terms of cleaning it really is on an another level. My teeth feel like they’ve been cleaned by the dentist! Given its still virtually impossible to get a dentist appointment the really deep clean and plaque removal this brush gives is really welcome. Even when we can get back, i suspect this will cut down on hygienist trips and therefore overall its a good investment

Presently this the best electric toothbrush I have ever used.
The 1st diamond clean 9000 was faulty and malfunctioned which was very disappointing. However, the replacement item appears to be working very well presently.

Phillips after care and customer service brilliant!
The sonicare is the best toothbrush for cleaning your teeth without shredding your gums ... that goes without saying. My toothbrush broke after using for just one year ... I'd registered it with Phillips and all I did was ring them, they took my details, sent me a label to return the broken toothbrush and then send me a brand new one!Fortunately the warranty is 24 months ... couldn't ask for better service.

Worth it
I was a bit concerned buying this toothbrush given some of the negative reviews but I am very happy that I did. I charged it for 24hrs prior to the first use and it works absolutely fine. Is it a bit too expensive? Perhaps, but at the end of the day I do think it’s worth the price: cleans very well, quieter than any other electric toothbrush I’ve had previously AND it looks great!

Good when works but not reliable/durable. Keeps breaking.
Dreadful customer service and toothbrushes do not last. I noticed other customers have left similar reviews about their toothbrushes only lasting 6 months.I Bought a sonic toothbrush for £149.99 in 2022 expecting it to last. Both my husband and I have had to keep sending both our toothbrushes back. They replace it only for it to break again. Ultimately, meaning the life of a toothbrush expectancy averages around 6 months. They will no longer replace my toothbrush because it is out of warranty. I do not feel this is fair. I changed from the average £50 oral b tooth brush, which lasted a long time. My husband bought the sonic Philips toothbrush, which was great when it worked, so I bought my own. After a short while my husbands broke and they replaced it. Then mine broke and it was replaced. This has gone on and on between both myself and husband since we purchased the toothbrushes. The whole rigmarole of contacting Philips, waiting for them to send the return label, posting back the broken device and having no electric toothbrush, and then waiting for a replacement brush, only to find it breaks again is just too much. They told me they will not send a new toothbrush because it is now out of warranty. However, this relates to the original purchase date, not on each toothbrush they have sent. Surely, if Philips are sending me a brand new item and it breaks, shouldn’t that have a new warranty? (if they were confident of their own product, they probably would). I do not expect to spend £149.99 on a tooth brush that last maximum of a year. I would get it if it was a one off but it is happening on each device. They will now offer me 30% discount on a new device. Thanks, but I will go to spotlight and purchase a similar toothbrush which has much better reviews and is cheaper. The whole experience of sending back and forth every 6 months or so is not what was expected.

Love love love
This is by far the best electric toothbrush I have ever used. You can feel the difference from using it; the brush head is good quality and you can choose settings for preference. Excellent product.
