Excellent introduction to computational chemistry
As a PhD student in computational chemistry I found this to be an excellent introduction to the field. Definitely recommend.

Great starting point for computational chemistry beginners
It is a great book that develops amicably many of the principles of computational chemistry.Different topics are discussed from the mathematical rigor but much simple examples both to develop with the students and doing it yourself are given. It is an essential book in any library and anyone who engages in computational chemistry.

Wonderful
I bought this when starting a computational chemistry PhD and after reading many different books on the topic I have to say that the explanations here are clearer than in some others. This really is a get-you-up-to-speed book.

introduction for the laymen
I bought the book because I would like to know a bit more about computational chemistry while I am a chemical engineer sometimes dealing with experts in the field. This book allowed me to get a grip on what these people do, and pobably would also allow me to go further in depth
