I searched a while for a high quality floss that wouldn't break and doesn't have PFAS ingredients. When I found this I decided to stop my search. I've used for about 6 months and still haven't broken a piece while flossing. I couldn't even break it when I tried pulling it between my hands. The fabric swells in saliva just enough to provide excellent cleaning. Wonderful product!

My dental hygienist recommended these, saying they were thicker. While I've always thought that there wasn't much difference among flosses, that thought changed with the product. I've used string flosses regularly, typically whatever's on sale, though recently I apparently picked on e that looks and feels like fishing line, yuck for me. By contrast, Dr. Tung's is wide and soft. In my last "lesson" from my dental hygienist, she suggested that when the floss picks up something, make a second pass. This is a better product that's worth using on your teeth!

I was reluctant to buy this due to price, but my dentist recommended it. I’m glad I purchased it. The floss is thick and very strong. I think it’s the strongest floss I’ve ever used. I had been using a better known and easily available brand. Those floss strands were thin and would often break. Going forward, I will be using DrTung’s floss.

OralB discontinued their Super Floss (in a regular custom-sized length container) and their pre-cut ones are a different material with stiff waxed ends. If you have extremely tight teeth and use the technique of making a knot a few inches from the end of the piece & pulling through the areas between your teeth, this floss is the next best option. Probably even better than OralB’s version. It’s made similar to an embroidery thread, with a lot of teeny strings. They really pick up the tiniest of black pepper flakes! It doesn’t shred that easily - unless if you’re like me and continually pass the same area through your teeth (included a photo of the floss in a new and a shredded state). If you have a (glued) retainer, braces, or a jagged cap, this floss does catch easily and you might have fibers stuck to those areas that you’ll need to dry and tweeze. Sometimes I’m not sure if some of the teeny white balls are actually a string that got cut off and rolled up, instead of plaque. Either way, this floss picks anything up easily. I don’t mind the light licorice flavor and smell, but if you’re sensitive to natural herbal smells, this might not work for you. However, this purchase is still well worth it for the thorough cleaning it provides.

This floss is wonderful stuff. I don't like the big brands floss - they are very plastic, and don't seem to remove plaque. Hate the Glide stuff. I really really don't want to rub PFAS, etc. into my gums. Dr Tung's really is comfortable and I think it's removing plaque much better than any I've used before. I wish it wasn't so expensive (had to take off a star) but I like it so much I guess I'm going to have to buy it again... unless I can find another brand that works as well.

This floss is worth the money! I’m excited to floss every night. Gets in between teeth to really clean things out.

This is an excellent product. It was recommended by my hygienist, and as I am a retired hygienist, I am very impressed. It may be more difficult to use at times where the position of the teeth or fillings shred it, but it is my favorite, by far. It arrived with another favorite product in Amazon packaging (also a favorite), but this time it was very poorly wrapped. I felt the bag had been opened or tampered with, but both products seemed fine and unharmed, so I kept them. I hope for better from Amazon next time.

When Oral-B stopped making the Glide dental floss that I had been using for years, I was frustrated because despite trying many other types of floss, I was unable to find one that I liked as well. After some research, I discovered DrTung' s Smart Floss. It's unlike any dental floss I have used. It takes a little getting used to, but it is strong and soft, and it does not snap into the gums. I learned today from my dental hygienist that DrTung's is a healthier option than many others on the market so that's a bonus.

being using oral-B, this is clear setup from it. slides in as easy without stredding. soft cloth texture with ample material so you won't slip and cut into gums like the B boys. no weird flavor, this is good my friends except its twice the B price...

香りもありとてもいいフロスと勧められ在庫があったので購入してみましたが高額の割に特別の良さは、あまり感じませんでした。香りがカビ臭く感じたのが残念でした。もう一種類を使用してから次をどうするか決めようと思っています。

Tengo las encías retraídas y sensibles y me daba miedo pasar la seda/hilo dental todos los días porque me hacía algo de daño en alguna encía. Éste es maravilloso, el mejor que probado nunca, lo uso a diario y noto que limpia y arrastra mucho más que el resto y de una forma suave, como si fuera una esponjita entre los dientes, pero cabe perfectamente hasta en los dientes apiñados sin romperse ni hacer daño. Ademas el aroma muy suave a cardamomo es muy original y me encanta

Have been using it for many years, and find that it isn't as harsh as some of the Dental Floss out there.
