Target Darts Bolide Tungsten Swiss Point Steel Tip Darts Set

I have had my previous set of darts for over 28 years, but having recently returned back to the board I found my fingers were no longer as good as they used to be and I could barely feel the dart in my hand. After a few wayward darts were putting our wall and furniture in serious danger I decided it was time to get a new set! My main goal was to find a similar shape and weight that I use but with extra grip but with so many brands to choose from now it’s not an easy choice. I bought two sets from another brand but unfortunately the grip advertised just didn’t live up to the claim so I decided to try Target Darts Bolide 03 24g with Swiss points! Having never tried this brand before I was a little optimistic but after opening the package and holding them in my hand I could definitely feel the grip on these! Its about 4 on the grip scale (1 having no grip and 5 having an aggressive grip) they are 90% Tungsten with a sandblasted Matt texture between the groves which feels nice in the hand and just the right amount of grip for my needs. They look well made and are within the tolerated match weight as advertised, they come with Swiss 26mm steel points that are easily changed or replaced with the included Swiss point tool and although there is nothing wrong with the included points I like a point with a little bit of texture for my leading finger so I changed them to the Swiss Storm Diamond 26mm points as seen in the including photo for this review also purchased from Amazon. I am overly impressed with this set of darts so much so I will be ordering another set to keep as a spare. They are reasonably priced, well made and have the added advantage of the Swiss point technology so I can now change points without needing bulky tools, and the included Swiss point tool fits nicely in my dart case.

Great darts amazing

Great darts my favourite design in a dart. I have been playing for many years. The ring grip on these barrels suits my throw to a tee. 23grams is my preferred weight in most darts and that doesn’t change with these. I am a front gripper and think these would be prefect for any kind of grip. They also look amazing with any kinds of flight and stem combination.

Excellent condition but great set of darts very durable feel really nice in the hand while looking great in the board aswell brilliant grip 3 out 5 maybe abit too heavy for me personally but all round great darts.

The best cheap set of darts available in my opinion 👌🏼 With the prices going up at the minute these are a great choice that doesn't break the bank and there available in 5 different shapes with multiple weights! They have swiss point technology aswell so are easily customisable to make them just right for whoever is throwing them 🎯👍🏼

Have been looking for bomb style darts for a while. Whilst not quite traditionally a bomb these are perfect for my grip and throw. Definitely would prefer a front gripper like I am. I was playing with a thinner torpedo dart but this thickness feels natural. Even though the 24g are 7.85mm thick (which sounds very big) but there is plenty of room for 3 darts in a treble. Dart is grippy with radial grooves but not overly harsh. Definitely have helped with my consistency and can see my average rising. Would definitely recommend for beginners as well as seasoned vets.

Got them at a bargain price. Very grippy and nicely balanced. The flights and stems look nice but damage quickly with tight grouping. This is to be expected and they are consumables anyway. The Swiss point system is a great idea. Some reviews say that they break easily but so far no problems. This is my second set of bolide darts and both sets perform well. Very pleased with them.

I picked up the Target Bolide 01 (23g) specifically for the Swiss Point system, and it has become my go-to set. Here is why I recommend it, especially for newer players: The Swiss Point Advantage: The patented Swiss Point system is a game-changer. You can change tips in seconds using the included tool. This is huge for two reasons: Customization: You can instantly swap between point lengths and textures to see what works best for your throw. Travel Safety: If you travel for tournaments, you can remove the sharp points instantly. This makes them much easier to pack safely especially when you check-in at the airpot. (Note: Always check TSA rules, but being able to separate the sharp points from the barrels is a massive convenience). Grip & Feel: The "sandblasted" radial grooves give this a unique texture. It’s not aggressive (I’d rate the grip 3.5/5), but it is very "catchy." You know exactly where the dart is in your hand, but it releases smoothly without "biting" your fingers. Who is this for? This is a "Straight Barrel" design, which is the "safe playground" for beginners. It allows you to experiment with front, middle, or rear grips comfortably. I recommend the 23g version—it’s the most common weight used by top professionals (like many in the PDC top 32) and offers a great balance of control and weight. Weight Consistency: I weighed all three barrels on my own scale, and the quality control is impressive. The weight difference between them was virtually non-existent (less than 1g variation). You don't have to worry about an unbalanced set throwing off your game; they are incredibly consistent. Verdict: While slightly pricey, you are paying for the Swiss Point technology. If you want a future-proof set that grows with you, this is the one to get.
